The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from JR Himeji Station, which was very convenient. I arrived quite late, around 1:00 AM, but there was still a staff member at the front desk to welcome me. They also offered complimentary drinks from a self-service machine, including tea, coffee, and cocoa. I highly recommend the cocoa, rich, not too sweet, and surprisingly good! The staff member was a Japanese who spoke English well and provided helpful information. The room was clean and spacious enough for a solo traveler. There was a very slight smell of cigarette smoke, but it wasn't too noticeable. An air purifier was provided in the room, and the air conditioning worked very well. I did discover that the A/C remote control wasn't working, but I didn't report it since I was staying alone. Fortunately, my friend in another room was still awake and let me borrow their remote to adjust the temperature. The bathroom was clean and had a small bathtub, which is quite common in Japanese hotels. The hotel itself was quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. My only funny concern was that the A/C was installed directly above the bed. After watching too many Final Destination movies, I couldn't stop imagining it falling on my head while I slept! 😂 So I ended up moving my pillow a little farther away, just in case. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel. One thing to note: the hotel is known for its hot spring facilities, but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try them because I arrived very late and had to leave early the next morning.

It was a lot closer to the station than Google Map showed me - just walk straight path from the station exit to the hotel through underpassage of another hotel, or between 711 and that other hotel. Clean room and necessities including shower towel. Enjoyed the drip bag coffee as well. The mini refrigerator was making extremely loud noise so I had to turn it off good thing I did not need it. The public bath and sauna were decent. Two hot bath tubs and one hot tub sort of outside. The sauna was HOT I'm Asian but lasted less than 5 min there lol

Location is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.

Just a short walk from the South exit of the Shinkansen station passing through the drop off point and Hotel Nikko Himeji.There is a 7-11 just opposite the hotel. Staff are nice and courteous. The only minus point is that check out time is 10:00 am which is a bit early as compare to hotels in other countries.

Excellent location, we were able to find the hotel even we arrive at night, 5min walk from railway station Only problem is the light shading curtain is not good, easy to allow sun light to shine into the room, wake me up at 7am

Good service, friendly staff who spoke English really well. They have a hot tub, onsen, on top level. I paid 150 yen to use the onsen and didn’t have to pay the local tax.

Hotel Livemax Himeji is centralised located near the train station. The highlight is definitely the onsen. Though it’s a bit small, it is definitely comfortable and help keeps me relaxed after long day of travel. The room has all the basic amenities though I find the color scheme a bit dark. We took the smoking room even though we don’t smoke. It was a bit dusty but no cigarette smell. Onsen tax is about SGD $3 per night. Overall I will stay again as it is comfortable and has a good onsen for the price I paid.

Hotel was clean and super close to the station.Himeji Castle reachable by foot.Staff was kind and keen to help, we really felt welcome here.Room was small (as everywhere in Japan) but clean and provided with all the amenities needed!We would absolutely recommend this place!PS: They also have a cool onsen with a sauna and an outdoor bath!
