(Translated by Google) This is KAMAKURA HOTEL. Thank you very much for choosing KAMAKURA HOTEL from among the many hotels available. We also appreciate you taking the time to post your review. Our complimentary drinks from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM include both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, and we are pleased that our guests enjoyed their relaxing time. We are delighted that you enjoyed it. The flowers in the sauna's cold plunge pool are arranged by a nearby florist to complement the Japanese modern space. We hope the flowers enhanced your relaxation time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of a partner parking lot. When you visit Kamakura again, please be sure to stay at KAMAKURA HOTEL. All of our staff look forward to welcoming you back. The hotel's own cafe and restaurant are a great first stop, with the cafe open to guests and locals alike. For a change of scene, the area around Kamakura Station has plenty of dining options, including Komachi Street with its traditional restaurants and cafes. You can also find casual izakaya and bars right next to the hotel. For a sit-down meal, consider Kamakura Sukiyaki & Shabu-shabu Restaurant Sasho or The Factory Kamakura, both a short walk away. Udon Kamakura Miyoshi is another nearby choice for noodles.
The hotel sits in the quiet Onarimachi area, a short walk from Kamakura Station, with a lush garden and streetscape around it. The first floor cafe and restaurant open to the street, and the terrace is a pleasant spot to relax. Nearby, Komachi Street is about a 5-minute walk, lined with shops and eateries. Major sights like Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu are an 11-minute walk, and Genjiyama Park is 9 minutes away. The Enoden train line is easily accessible from the station, connecting you to the coast and further temples.
From Kamakura Station, the hotel is a 3-minute walk from the west exit. The station is served by the JR Yokosuka Line from Tokyo Station (about 55 minutes) and the Shonan-Shinjuku Line from Shinjuku. From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu Line to Yokohama Station, then transfer to the Yokosuka or Shonan-Shinjuku Line to Kamakura. From Narita Airport, the Narita Limited Express goes directly to Kamakura via Ofuna. Once at the station, follow signs to the west exit and head toward Onarimachi; the hotel is at 14-32 Onarimachi, near Genjiyama Park.
In the evening, the hotel's own cafe turns into an izakaya, serving dinner and sake from across Japan, and it is open to non-guests too. Nearby, you will find a few bars and izakaya right opposite and next to the hotel. For a stroll, Genjiyama Park is a 9-minute walk away, and Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu is 11 minutes on foot. Komachi Street, with its shops and eateries, is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The Enoden train from Kamakura Station can take you further along the coast for more evening options.
Kamakura Seizan is a great base for exploring Kamakura, with many key sights within a short walk. Genjiyama Park is a 9-minute walk, while Zeniarai Benten Shrine, Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu, and Sasuke Inari Shrine are all 11 to 13 minutes away. Kamakura Seaside Park and Kotoku-in are a 16-minute walk, and Meigetsu-in and Hase-dera are 20 to 21 minutes on foot. For farther areas like Enoshima, the Enoden train from nearby Kamakura Station connects you easily. The hotel's own cafe and restaurant offer convenient dining after a day of exploring.
