There were a few minor marks on the fabric sofa that could benefit from additional attention during cleaning. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The Japanese restaurant on the 6th floor was quite good and definitely worth trying. The buffet on the 2nd floor also offered a wide variety of dishes with good quality. There were some yellow stains on the bathtub, but I believe they were caused by the hot spring bath powder provided by the hotel. Some natural ingredients can leave marks if they are not cleaned off promptly after use. The hotel also provided small packets of body lotion and face cream, which was a thoughtful touch for travelers like me who prefer to pack light and avoid carrying too many toiletries.

We chose this hotel and never regretted it. The room on the high floor had a stunning view of winter Kanazawa. I bet there must be a better view from the restaurant on the roof top there. The station is only about 7-minute walk away. Everything in the hotel was wonderful. There were some comfortable chairs and a stunning fountain in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with such a wide variety of food! My son loved the yuzu-flavored ice cream so much. After check-out my son couldn't find his power bank, by that time we had already moved on to another city, so we contacted the hotel manager. They searched everywhere in the hall where my son was sitting. Fortunately, later we found our power bank in his belongings. However, the hotel manager kept in touch with us via email untill we solved the problem.

The interior is very clean and well-maintained. The bathroom, in particular, feels modern, with a marble-like floor and a spacious bathtub. Water pressure is strong, and all necessary amenities are provided. Pajamas are also available and in good condition, giving the room an overall fresh impression. The bedroom itself is relatively compact, with a small desk—similar to a typical Japanese business hotel. Complimentary mineral water (two bottles per day) is a nice touch. A 7-Eleven is located right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. It’s also close to Kanazawa Station. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay.

We had a wonderful experience here. We speak minimal Japanese and everywhere we went the staff was accommodating and friendly. We asked the front desk about a luggage transfer service and it was an easy process. The bar upstairs was gorgeous with nice music and lovely staff. Our room was clean and pretty awesome, I especially loved the bath. We would absolutely stay again.

My stay at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa was satisfactory. The rooms were incredible small, providing good comfort but also there were no places for luggage. The service was adequate, meeting general expectations. However, the hotel's location was a definite advantage, offering convenient access to nearby attractions. 🏨🚶‍♂️😊. Breakfast not worthy.

Fabulous hotel. Beautiful foyer and reception area. Easy access to Kanazawa station via underground walkway (very close). BEST OF ALL - you get great views but in reverse, you can see the hotel tower from all over the city. So if you take a wrong turn, look for the Hotel Nikko Tower. Will definitely stay here again. ❤️ Checkout the photos to see how the tower stands out and gets you back to the hotel or station.

I really wanted to like this property as the staff were so lovely/attentive, and the location convenient. I booked a deluxe suite. The room size was good, but the room was so tired and in need of an overhaul. Much of the caulking on the bathroom floor needs to be repaired, the cabinetry all banged up, and walls/wallpaper repainted and replaced. I alerted them to excessive mold in the shower-they attended to it that day- but they still did a lousy job and big patches of it remained. They also need to run a vacuum through as the carpet was not clean. Lastly, a lot of black hairs all over the sofa. Yuck! The housekeeping manager is not doing their job! I stay at the Nikko in Nagoya every year and it is such an amazing hotel, I was hoping the same from the Kanazawa property.

Room was horrible. In serious need of a deep cleaning and renovation. For the price ( $250 USD) per night, it’s in poor condition. Also there’s no gym. Guests have to pay 2300 yen to use the fitness center next door. It seems like they care more for the entrance of the hotel than the rooms.
