We got a day pass (£25 each) for the hot springs and spa and it was amazing! Lots of different cold and hot pools with beautiful shrubbery surroundings. The places wasn't too loud or busy. Very child friendly but not to many around. Relaxing and calm atmosphere with a bar you can order drinks from the pool. There was also 2 waterslides. Highly recommend as great value for money!

We visited this spot using a day pass, and it turned out to be a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. For anyone planning a visit, we paid $30 for the pass without the buffet, though I believe the price is $50 when it is available. A quick tip: the buffet is subject to availability, especially if there are large groups arriving, so if there is not so many people you will not have it. The facilities are impressive. The swimming pools are really nice and well-maintained, offering something for everyone. If you are looking for a bit of an adrenaline rush, they have some pretty quick slides that are a lot of fun, no matter your age! After the slides, the thermal water is the perfect way to relax, though be prepared—it is genuinely hot, exactly what you want from a natural spring experience. One piece of advice for those looking for a bit of peace: while the area near the bar is lively, the music can get quite loud. If you prefer a more tranquil environment, we highly recommend heading to the upper pool. It is much more "chill" up there and allows you to really take in the surroundings. The entire complex is set against a fantastic view of the volcano, providing a breathtaking backdrop that makes the whole experience feel like a luxury getaway. Whether you want to play on the slides or just soak with a view, this place is well worth the visit!

Pros: Gorgeous rainforest surroundings. Great pool, springs and the water slide is one of a kind. Joselyn at reception was top notch and fixed our reservation that was booked for different rooms on different nights. Rooms are big and clean. If they just updated the lobby and bed spreads it would be huge for upleveling the 80’s aesthetic. Cons: The wait staff at The Las Palmas restaurant at dinner was consistently awful. They seem annoyed at every moment and rush you to order everything immediately so they can never look at your table again once you do. Not sure how that one place got all the worst of the staff. Food there was also not great. Rooms have thin walls and you can hear everything everywhere.

Los Lagos is a beautiful property with lush grounds, relaxing hot springs, and a delicious included breakfast. The setting is peaceful, and we really enjoyed the pools and the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the fact that multiple items went missing from our locked room during our stay. We reported the issue to the resort, but were told there was nothing they could do. While we appreciated many aspects of the resort, the handling of this situation was disappointing. I would recommend guests take extra precautions with their valuables and personal belongings while staying here. It’s unfortunate because the property itself is lovely, but customer service when dealing with our theft report did not meet our expectations.

I really wanted to give this resort five stars. The hot springs are amazing. The staff was great. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. It has a great view of the volcano and its close to dining options and shopping. The reason I can’t give more than two stars is because of the layout of the property. When we arrived we were assigned a room that is a 20min walk uphill. They offered shuttle rides freely but you had to call for it each time. On our last day we needed to get to the lobby where our airport shuttle was waiting. It was raining. I called for the shuttle and it took 25 min to arrive and I had to call twice. That is unacceptable to be on property but not be able to get anywhere without a shuttle for so long. It made the resort experience a two star experience. The resort should fix this by not assigning guests to the remote building unless they have a car. Or having a golf cart rental option. If we would have been placed nearer to the lobby/pool area this resort could easily be 4 or 5 stars. Until this is fixed I cannot recommend this resort to anyone.

Great hotel! Wonderful and helpful staff all around. Great, spacious rooms, very clean. Property was large and well taken care of. Nice hiking path on property with animals including a sloth high up in the treetops. Included breakfast was excellent. Pool bar was great. Many hot springs and nice cold pools as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and would return!!

The hotel room is very clean, the service is also great and the facilities are very nice, specially the hot springs.My only complain being needing a shuttle to move from the room to the hot springs in the furthest rooms

An absolute hidden gem! The views from our room were breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama that completely stole the show. Everything was impeccably clean and well maintained, giving us total peace of mind thanks to the secure environment. To top it all off, the staff was exceptionally approachable and helpful, always ready with a smile to assist with anything we needed. ​An incredible stay from start to finish, we can't wait to come back!
