We just finished an absolutely impeccable stay at Nayara Tented Camp. The rooms were gorgeously outfitted, large, and comfortable. They even brought a kid sized robe to the room which thrilled my daughter. The food was outstanding and the prices were more reasonable than expected. The service was second to none. The staff do a wonderful job of remembering guests. The pools were all clean and well supplied. We did the wildlife tour and saw lots of cool animals without having to leave the property. This stay was worth ever penny. The highlight of our trip for sure.

From the moment we arrived, Nayara Tented Camp exceeded every expectation my husband and I had. We knew it would be beautiful, but nothing could have prepared us for just how incredible our experience would be. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated, and it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime stay. The service was simply unmatched. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay unforgettable. The level of hospitality was above and beyond anything we’ve experienced at any other resort. Our tent was absolutely breathtaking—luxurious, private, and surrounded by stunning rainforest views. Waking up to nature each morning while enjoying every modern comfort was something we’ll never forget. The spa was phenomenal, and the thermal pools were the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Every part of the property is impeccably maintained, and it’s clear that so much care goes into creating an exceptional guest experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, nature, world-class service, and total relaxation, Nayara Tented Camp is it. We left already talking about when we could come back. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever.

My family of four stayed at Nayara Tented Camp for four nights in August 2026, and it was a fabulous experience. The resort is beautiful, and the people were fantastic. Having the private hot spring pool right outside our back door was a special treat, as was the easy transportation around the resort by friendly staff. It rained on and off throughout our stay, but the staff and facility are very prepared to deal with rain. It was easy to communicate with the very responsive concierge hosts via WhatsApp for questions, requests for reservations, transportation, or other assistance. We dined at three different restaurants and enjoyed in room breakfast delivery. We would definitely return and recommend this resort for families or couples looking for a special experience.

If you are looking for a once in a life time trip in a beautiful resort, I cannot recommend Nayara more. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are impeccable. The food at the resort has great variety, and the best drinks at the resort are at Henry’s bar. We also had great experiences through all of our excursions through Nayara and loved the night walk, zip lining, hanging bridges+ waterfall, kayaking, and white water rafting. Although you can find great hotels around the world, Nayara provides something truly unique which is a staff that exemplifies what makes Costa Rica so special. Every staff encounter was so friendly, helpful, and educational. We could not have asked for better hosts than the wonderful people we got to interact with. Maria Jose at La Terraza talked us through tortilla making and culture. Jefferson and Graves provided us great conversation and fun facts on our drives to dinners. Fernando took us through the menu items at Amor Loco with a great attention to detail and respect for Costa Rica. Levi expertly guided us through the hanging bridges and taught us so much. Even as we left the hotel to go to the airport, our driver, Ronald, stopped to show us monkeys because we told him that was the one animal we didn’t get to see. We can’t speak highly enough about the amazing Costa Rican staff and experience on this trip. All that is left to say is thank you and Pura Vida!

We've stayed in a lot of hotels, but nothing prepared us for Nayara Gardens Tented Camp. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like checking in and more like being welcomed by people who genuinely wanted us there and who wanted us to have the best holiday filled with special memories. The setting is extraordinary, every detail of the design works with the landscape instead of against it, I never felt like a visitor imposing on nature, it’s hard to describe, you feel like you’re treading lightly, like you’re folded into the rainforest. But what truly set this place apart was the people. Every staff member had a warmth that felt completely unforced. This wasn't scripted hospitality, it was care. It’s like every staff member wanted you to have the best day ever. A great example is Greivin, he drove us from our first night restaurant back to our lodge (tent, room?) His warm energy was contagious, he asked if he could stop to show us some wildlife, of course we said yes. We saw all sorts of frogs, as if we had paid to go on a night tour! Or Keren at the thermal pools (magical setting) she was so welcoming and talked to us about local foods with such genuine interest. Or the guy who proudly told us about Paddington the movie being filmed in Monteverde, his whole being came to life as he told the story. This was repeated by others, who helped show us sloths and more. (They need better job titles it’s like all of the staff are hosts not bell boys or waiters) Nayara Gardens Tented Camp isn't just one of the best hotels we've stayed at, it's one of the best experiences we've had (and we travel a lot!) I’d like me you’re trying to justify the cost while booking, just do it, the experience is so much more than you can work out from the website Pura Vida 🇨🇷 ❤️

This was the nicest resort I have ever stayed at and I traveled everywhere (almost). It surpassed our expectations. Although it is quite pricey, it was worth every cent. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, but staying two or three nights would be optimal so you could really research the whole property. It is connected to two other Nayara resorts which I didn't know when I booked. If you are only there for one or two nights, do not plan any other excursions or you'd miss out on the luxury of this beautiful resort and all of its great restaurants if bars and hot springs!!!!

Nayara Tented Camp, along with other properties on the resort, is beyond anything we have experienced. The customer service and attention to detail is simply superb. Every person knows your name, they read your intake form and know your preferences, it is outstanding. We arrived in Liberia and the driver through the hotel, Norman, was promptly waiting. The van is very comfortable, reclining seats, drinks, snacks, etc. He even offered to stop for lunch as our trip was very long. He also showed us monkeys and toucans along our way. Starting the trip off with this level of excellent customer service sets the tone for the entire trip. We were greeted by Nelson at reception who walked us through everything. He then escorted us to the room and explained all the features. The room is stunning. The private plunge pool was my husbands favorite the entire trip. The mattress and pillows are top notch. I treated myself to the spa with the Nayara Signature treatment. Veronica was fantastic! We loved all the restaurants, every meal we had was extremely good. We also didn’t know that most have light live music with is a nice touch. Special shoutout to Robin at Ayla who was very attentive. The private tours they offer are also very good, well worth the money. We did the hanging bridges and waterfalls with Carlos as our guide and Hugo as our driver. Carlos spotted literally everything along our walk. We were so fortunate to see monkeys, toucans, snakes (not my fav but still cool) and also gave us a good education. The waterfalls is no joke with 500 steps down and back up. But awaiting you at the top was Hugo with a cooler and nice cool washcloths, it’s these tiny details that make Nayara and the staff stand out. We also got to see a sloth with a baby on her chest! Next we did the bird watching tour with Andres as the guide and Carlos as the driver. We really lucked out with the weather but we saw over 30 different kinds of birds along with an amazing family of spider monkeys! After a trek through the gardens Carlos had set up a little breakfast picnic, again these little details are perfection. Just some other quick shoutouts to more friendly staff; Allan at the welcome tent, Wendy at La Terraza and Kendall driving a cart. And Rafael for his long journey to drop us off ! Also housekeeping is amazing, everything is always spotless. Some quick tips for travelers; this resort is very hilly and like a maze. We love to walk, my husband does about 10 miles a day and even this resort made us winded! Pack comfortable shoes. The food at each restaurant is really good, there truly is no need to leave. We did lunch one day in town but glad we hung back for dinner. Bring a raincoat and good hiking shoes if you are venturing on trails. All in all, truly probably the most remarkable resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment we left the airport we were well attended too. They think of the smallest details and the customer service at every turn is nothing short of amazing

I have travelled this summer with family to Costa Rica. The entire Country has been a real discovery. We stayed at the Nayara Tended Camp and i must say it's one of the best hotels i have stayed. The place, the hotel, the environment, the service, every little and unexpected details was completely taken care by a top class host service from drivers, concierge, restaurants, housekeeping!!! its been one of the best family experiences ever and i strongly recommend. Its a MUST if you travel to Costa Rica. My deepest congratulations to the entire hotel staff and management, they made the stay unforgettable. Ill be back in Christmas holidays again
