I spent hours researching hotels to stay at and decided on this one and I'm so glad we did. We had an amazing stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained, our room was spacious, comfortable, and gorgeous. We especially loved relaxing in the hot springs, taking in the incredible views of Arenal Volcano, and unwinding in the hammocks around the property. The drinks were fantastic, the food was very good, and the entire resort had a peaceful, tropical atmosphere. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We loved it here. We had 4 kids with us and the staff was great with them. The pool area was so fun with lots of spots from hot to warm to cool. We also really enjoyed the game room while hanging out before dinner one night. We called for golf carts a lot because our 2.5 yr old couldn't quite walk all the way from reception to the rooms and they never took more than 2 minutes to arrive! Great location in Arenal for activities during the day. Rooms were spacious and quiet, we enjoyed the outdoor rock jacuzzi one night too. Highly recommend.

Great few days away — easily the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. The room was lovely and the resort itself had everything we could have wanted. It was only a short ride from La Fortuna, which wasn’t really to our tastes overall, although we did have a nice evening out there. There’s loads to do nearby too — hanging bridges, waterfalls, zip lining — but honestly, I could happily have stayed at the resort for a full week. The pool and hot springs were fantastic, and the food and drinks at both the swim-up bar and the restaurants were great. The staff were awesome throughout our stay. We definitely spent more than we originally planned, but with the quality of everything, we really couldn’t complain. 100% would recommend.

Location & Drive: Located about 10 minutes from La Fortuna. If you’re driving from Liberia along the lake route, get ready for a very windy, curvy road, but make sure to stop at the beautiful lookout right at the start of the lake! Atmosphere & Service: The resort is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and feels like a charming little neighbourhood where each room is its own individual "house." Having a rental car and being able to park directly at our room was convenient. On rainy days, the golf cart shuttle service was awesome - just a quick call to reception, and they were right there. The staff are exceptionally kind and genuinely seem to love what they do. Rooms & Cleanliness: Spotless, bright, and spacious. Fun animal towels and best of all, it seems like every single room comes with a breathtaking view of the volcano! Hot Springs & Pools: Simply wonderful. They have dedicated family areas as well as adults-only spaces (both featuring swim-up bars!). In addition to the regular pools, there are various thermal pools with different temperatures and even a freshwater option. Dining & Breakfast: The included daily breakfast is fantastic with tons of variety—the passionfruit yogurt quickly became my morning favourite! While only one sit-down restaurant was open during our stay, you could order off any of the resort's menus (pizza, sushi, or traditional local dishes), which gave us plenty of variety. Exploring & Excursions: Having a rental car made it easy to drive 10 minutes into La Fortuna to check out the local shops, restaurants, and the town church with its gorgeous gardens. It was also perfect for day trips: Arenal Waterfall: Just a 15-minute drive away. Tackling the 500+ stairs down and back up was 100% worth it for the view! Guided Sloth Tour: Booked directly through the hotel—our guide was super knowledgeable, and we lucked out seeing tons of sloths and exotic birds. Mistico Park: Easy drive to do a guided tour (booked directly through the park). We had an incredible trip and would recommend Arenal Springs to anyone visiting the area!

This resort has some of the most beautiful landscaping and views of the Arenal volcano. Having the ability to drive our rental car right up to the room was a definite plus. It felt like a little cottage in the woods with the colorful foliage creating a privacy wall between neighboring rooms. The decor was lovely inside the rooms and very comfy; with an array toiletries provided. The grounds of the property were exceptional…clean and environmentally friendly. The hot springs were very enjoyable and relaxing in the evening after daytime tours.

Words cannot describe our experience at this resort. We traveled with my sister's family of 5, our family of 5 and our elderly parents. The service was amazing from greeting us with such a warm welcome with fresh natural drinks for us all to guiding us to our rooms. The views of the volcano were beautiful with a resort full of lush vegetation and several warm thermals to relax in. The morning breakfast was DELICIOUS from all kinds of fresh fruit, various options of food to eat and service was so kind! We enjoyed hearing sounds of rain drops and birds throughout our time there. The rooms were just as pictured, clean and comfortable and so accommodating! Definitely loved having a hammock to sit in, while I drank my coffee in the mornings viewing the volcano. Unfortunately, we were so spoiled, that now when we look for beach hotels in USA on the east coast, they do not compare to Arenal. We cannot thank the friendly staff there for such a beautiful and memorable experience.

Amazing stay! Incredible hot springs and grounds, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Standout experiences included dinner at the swim up bar and spotting toucans right from our patio! Construction really wasn’t an issue for us- the impacts were pretty minimal while we were there.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and had an amazing experience from the start! We were we greeted with cool towels and a welcome drink and a bottle of wine in our room to celebrate. The rooms have a perfect view of the volcano and we were lucky enough to see a clear view of it one of the days. Make sure to look in the bushes surrounding the pools as there’s always so many kind of lizards & iguanas laying around! We did think the pools were a slightly smaller than imagined. The sushi at the pool was SO GOOD, we got it every day. The Italian restaurant on site is also great along with the buffet breakfast. We did get a massage one day and the spa is nice enough but nothing fancy. Also do note that the resort is super kid friendly with a playground by the pool but they have an adults only section of the hot springs which was nice. Also - we stayed May 29-June 1, 2026 and they were doing construction on the restaurant beside the pools and construction on multiple cabanas. We weren’t notified of that when we booked and I could see how it would affect some people’s experience but we were okay with it. We would absolutely stay again! :)
