My friend and I went on vacation here for a week to celebrate her birthday. We absolutely loved everything!! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond for us no matter how small the request was. The view of volcano from our room as well as the pool was exceptional! The hot springs and pool was so relaxing. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. We opted in for some activities that the hotel offers for an extra cost and they were AMAZING. I recommend the ATV tour. The staff was aware my friend's birthday was toward the end of our trip, and decorated her bed and left such a sweet note. We are so grateful to the staff at Arenal Manoa for everything and we look forward to returning very soon!

Amazing service! One of the best experiences to see animals & the volcano. The different thermal pools are beautiful and very enjoyable. |The suite was very comfortable. |Two improvements: Gym and a mesh screen on the patio door to keep insects out but allow air in.|Nice breakfast. Menu food , pricey but very good.

Amazing place with all the bells and whistles - beautiful property and excellent facilities. Would stay again. The view from my room was the volcano and totally magical

What an experience! AM was incredible from the moment we were greeted and escorted to our Chato to be greeted by the local bartender with green (virgin) drinks for the family (which were amazing). The staff is easy to access through what’s app at all times and it seemed within moments we had anything we needed throughout our stay. Highly secure, with security details throughout the property we felt safe at all times. The room was very clean, and gorgeous. The hot springs were easy to find a private spot for our family and were really beautiful. If you want a great experience I highly recommend, not one complaint! It is a hell of a trek to get here from the airport but it was really a trip of a lifetime and much of this was owed to our stay at AM. If we return to Costa Rica again I couldn’t see myself booking a different resort. Thanks to all the staff for making our vacation perfect!

Our family had an incredible stay at Hotel Arenal Manoa in the Chatao Suites, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and immaculate grounds. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made our family feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The hot springs were a highlight of our stay. They were beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place for our family to unwind after a day of exploring Costa Rica. The Chatao Suite was also fantastic—spacious, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and a wonderful place to come back to each evening. And the food was **amazing**. Every meal we had was delicious, and the quality exceeded our expectations. What really stood out, though, was the people. The staff at Hotel Arenal Manoa went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. Their warmth and attention to detail made our stay feel truly special. Hotel Arenal Manoa was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip, and we would absolutely stay here again. If you’re visiting the Arenal/La Fortuna area, **do yourself a favor and book this hotel—you won’t regret it!**

The resort was absolutely beautiful! We loved every moment here. The rooms were beautiful with stunning views of the volcano. The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely come back! Only minor suggestions would be for the room’s outdoor jacuzzi to be warmer and some simpler authentic options in the restaurant at dinner. Otherwise, perfection!

Our stay at Arenal Manoa in the Chato Suite was absolutely incredible. The volcano view is jaw-dropping — waking up to an unobstructed view of Arenal from our private pool and terrace felt like a dream. The suite itself was spacious and incredibly private — true luxury surrounded by nature. The food was excellent, with a great variety and consistently high quality. Breakfasts with the volcano in the background were unforgettable, and dinners were the perfect way to unwind after busy days exploring. The location is ideal — close to waterfalls, hot springs, hanging bridges, wildlife tours, and La Fortuna, while still feeling peaceful and secluded. There is so much to do nearby, yet the resort itself feels calm and relaxing, making it easy to balance adventure with downtime. The grounds are stunning, the staff are warm and attentive, and everything felt thoughtfully done from start to finish. This was one of those RARE stays where every detail exceeded expectations. We would 100% return and highly recommend Arenal Manoa — especially the Chato Suite — to anyone looking for an unforgettable Costa Rica experience with luxury, comfort, and the most spectacular volcano views imaginable.

Absolutely stunning views and beautifully landscaped. I can’t say enough about the property. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The booking system for tours was a well oiled machine with some excellent guides. Everything from hanging bridges, to ATV trips, white water rafting, and coffee tours was available, excellently curated, and wonderful. We enjoyed everything, and do not miss the hot springs in the evening before bed. Very relaxing! The only advisory items that I can offer? They aren’t necessarily a negative, but might help with expectations. The prices are not cheap at the resort. We paid about $200 usd for dinner. But, the food seemed locally sourced and fresh for the most part. However, the menu was limited and of the regional side dishes were interesting. Our in town meals were generally a better, less expensive option. The rooms, generally well done and the finishes were clean. The only thing about the premium rooms, the bathrooms have a gigantic whirlpool tub for two, that also serves as you shower. Let’s just say, getting in and out is interesting. With the natural hot springs, these seem a little unnecessary. I would have appreciated a really nice shower instead, but hey, that’s just me. The shower head is a little low if you’re tall, so watch the knees, lol. Wifi- highly restrictive and slow. But, you are in the jungle and probably there to not no “connected”. Embrace it, I did. It was nice! All and all, beautiful location, well maintained, and awesome amenities. The pool, sushi bar, pizza oven, and happy hour crew do a good job and work incredibly hard. Definitely would go back! Kudos to the staff!
