AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Singletrack Podhůra is a purpose-built mountain bike trail network set in the recreational forest just outside Chrudim in eastern Bohemia. Opened in June 2014 as the Czech Republic's first urban Singltrek, it offers a smooth one-way loop that weaves between trees, over natural terrain features and through banked berms — all at a gentle difficulty that makes it ideal for families and developing riders.↗↗

Trails and Features
The heart of the park is the Singltrek itself: a 1.7 km one-way loop designed for slightly advanced riders who want to enjoy forest singletrack without serious technical challenges. The trail threads between trees and makes use of natural obstacles and terrain undulations, inspired by the famous Singltrek pod Smrkem centre in the Jizera Mountains.↗
Adjacent to the main loop is a pumptrack — a series of artificial rollers and banked corners that you ride using only your body's kinetic energy (the up-and-down “pumping” motion) rather than pedalling. It doubles as a balance and skills playground, great for warming up or for younger riders building confidence.
