Masnerkopf
Masnerkopf (2,828 m) is a broad, pyramid-shaped summit in the Samnaun Group above Serfaus in Tyrol, and it doubles as the highest point of the vast Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area. At the top, a purpose-built panorama platform lets visitors take in a 360-degree sweep of the Alpine main ridge without ever having to be a hardened mountaineer. In winter the lift drops you within metres of the summit; in summer the same platform becomes the reward at the end of a satisfying day hike, with the neighbouring Hexenkopf and the Furgler rising close by and the Ötztal Alps glittering across the distance.
