AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Iyara Park (ไอยรา ปาร์ค) is a sprawling wildlife-and-outdoor attraction set on more than 22 rai (about 3.5 hectares) of land in the Nong Plalai area of eastern Pattaya, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri. The Thai name ไอยรา is a literary word for 'elephant', and the park was built as a family-friendly stop on day-tour itineraries, offering visitors the unusual thrill of feeding large freshwater crocodiles at fenced ponds.↗↗
In recent years the park was best known among Chinese tour groups, who came for hands-on wildlife encounters across its wide compound. Google Maps still lists it as operational and open, and the site maintains a perfect 5-star rating from its small number of reviews, though detailed up-to-date information on what's currently on offer is limited.↗

What Iyara Park Offers
The core of Iyara Park has long been its crocodile ponds — large fenced water bodies where freshwater crocodiles measuring roughly 2–3 metres bask and glide behind steel guardrails and netting. The signature activity was feeding the crocodiles from a safe distance, an experience that drew curiosity-seekers (particularly tour groups from China) looking for an adrenaline-adjacent wildlife encounter without going full jungle trek.
