AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Tuna Beach Sinop is a small, family-run seaside beach club on the Black Sea, set just a short walk from the heart of Sinop's town centre along the east-facing shore near the Mobil Sitesi area. With soft sand, a gentle entry into clear, shallow water and a relaxed local atmosphere, it has become a convenient spot for swimmers who want beach-club comforts without leaving the city.↗↗↗
What sets it apart is its position right by Sinop Merkez (roughly 900 metres from the centre) and its easygoing, family-friendly feel, combined with water sports, a beachside café-bar and a lifeguard on duty. Free public beaches sit immediately alongside, so you can enjoy the serviced club or simply spread a towel on the sand. Reviews are mixed but often warm, with visitors praising the clean water, the friendly staff and the laid-back vibe.↗↗
A town-centre beach with real Black Sea character
Tuna Beach hugs the coastline at the eastern edge of Sinop Merkez, in the stretch of shore long known locally as Mobil Plajı. Unlike Sinop's famous southern-facing coves, this beach looks out to the east, which gives it a different mood: calmer and more sheltered on settled days, but a good place to feel the Black Sea's real swell when the weather turns. The shoreline itself is compact — beach profiles put it at roughly 140 to 180 metres of sand — which keeps it intimate rather than sprawling.
