You are on Macrossan Street, the main dining strip, so plenty of options are a short walk away. Hi Tide, Wrasse and Roe, and Zinc Restaurant are all about 100 metres from the hotel, with Thai Douglas, Pasta & Co., and The Little Larder about 200 metres. The Mexican, Bucci, Rattle n Hum, and ZanDers Beach Cafe are roughly 300 metres away. The hotel's own Restaurant is also on site for a convenient meal. For a sweet treat, Wicked Ice Cream Co is nearby as well.
You are at the quiet beach end of Macrossan Street, with Four Mile Beach just a short stroll away. The hotel's own restaurant is on site, and the surrounding streets are lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops. Marina Mirage, with its boutiques and dining, is within easy walking distance. The area is walkable, with the beach and local sights like the 4 Mile Beach Lookout and Trinity Bay Lookout just minutes on foot. For exploring further, tours and activities are easily accessible from town.
From Cairns Airport, it's about an hour's scenic drive north to Port Douglas. The hotel can arrange a shuttle that meets you at the airport and brings you to the front door, with bookings required. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service for the roughly 65 km trip. If you're coming by train, the nearest station is Marina Mirage Station, a short walk from the hotel. From there, simply head to 70 Macrossan Street, where the hotel sits at the quieter end of town, just steps from Four Mile Beach.
In the evening, you can walk to the nearby restaurants and bars on Macrossan Street, like Hi Tide, Wrasse and Roe, Zinc Restaurant, Thai Douglas, Pasta & Co., The Little Larder, The Mexican, Bucci, and Rattle n Hum. The hotel's own restaurant is also an option. For a relaxed evening, take a short stroll to the 4 Mile Beach Lookout (2 min walk) or Trinity Bay Lookout (3 min walk) to enjoy the coastal views. Marina Mirage, about a 12-minute walk away, offers shops and cafes. You could also consider a sunset cruise, as many local tour operators offer evening options.
Reflections of Port Douglas is a great base for exploring the town and coast. You can walk to 4 Mile Beach Lookout in 2 minutes, Trinity Bay Lookout in 3, and Wavelength Reef Cruises in 4, so the beach and reef tour departures are right at hand. The hotel's own restaurant is handy for meals before or after outings. For further sights like Wildlife Habitat (4.6 km) or Mossman Gorge (14.1 km), you'll need a car or a tour pickup, which many local operators offer. The town center is walkable, and the nearby stations, Marina Mirage and St Crispins, help you get around. It's a convenient spot for both quick beach trips and longer day adventures.
