We have stayed at the "suite with balcony" and the experience was perfect. The furniture is very high end and it makes the apartment luxurious. The apartment has all the utilities you might need, with a detailed guide on how to use them. The beds and the couch are very comfortable and there is a nice selection of pillows for all the needs. The balcony is a huge plus, the view is really nice - if you are lucky enough you can be able to see the northern lights.

The apartment is adequate and comfortable. A space large enough for a long term stay. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to make dinners etc. Note: check in time is late (3pm) and there is no way to store your luggages except at a location nearby which stores your luggages at a cost. This stay would be 5 stars if the host had better communication. Overall, a great stay with a great location. But don't expect a prompt response from the host if you have any sort of questions.

Premium Price for a Ruined Stay and Privacy Breach Expectation vs. Reality: What I paid for vs. What I actually received We booked this penthouse for a weekend getaway in Rovaniemi, paying a premium luxury price of €260 per night. For this amount of money, a guest expects a high-quality leisure stay, professional hospitality, a peaceful environment, and impeccable cleanliness. Instead, our stay was completely ruined, followed by an aggressive and illegal response from the management. 1. Peace and Relaxation vs. Unbearable NoiseWhat I paid for: A peaceful weekend and a relaxing time, including the use of the private sauna. What I received: 9 hours of non-stop, deafening live rock music (around 90 dB) from an open-air festival right beneath our windows, lasting from 15:30 until 01:00 AM. The extreme noise penetrated the entire apartment, including the sauna, making it physically impossible to rest or sleep, and causing a severe headache. The host completely failed to disclose this massive public event prior to booking. 2. Premium Convenience vs. Parking and Cleaning Failures What I paid for: Seamless luxury service, private infrastructure, and professional hygiene. What I received:It took us over 1 hour of stressful driving just to locate a parking spot outside before check-in.The cleanliness was entirely non-professional for a penthouse: the floors and corners were covered in dust, and the walls around the toilet were visibly stained with urine. 3. Professional Customer Care vs. Retaliation and Doxxing What I paid for: A responsible business owner who respects customer feedback and privacy laws. What I received: Total hostility and a complete lack of professionalism. When contacted for a partial refund due to the extreme noise, the host was dismissive, stating we "cannot expect them to repost public events" and that other guests came specifically for the noise. To avoid further stress during the stay, we reluctantly accepted an offer for a second night instead of a proper refund, but the experience was already ruined. After check-out, the host left me a retaliatory bad review on Airbnb. When I shared my honest experience on Google Maps, the host launched a public smear campaign: they explicitly published my full name, posted a direct URL link to my personal Instagram account (doxxing), and publicly insulted my mental health, calling me a "clinical case" who needs a "shrink." Conclusion:This host is only interested in collecting premium payments, not in providing responsible service or ensuring basic guest safety. Their toxic, aggressive, and highly unprofessional attitude toward paying customers is a massive danger to guest privacy. This matter has been officially escalated to the Finnish Police (Poliisi), the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuoja), and Airbnb Trust & Safety. I strictly do not recommend this property to anyone.

Superb apartment in centre of rovaniemi, highly recommend, everything you need, washer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, tv, comfortable beds. Close to everything, bus stop to Santa village, airport directly across the road. Apartment was spotlessly clean with small balcony with lovely view across the park. Would not hesitate to recommend if going to rovaniemi this is the place to stay. |M. Torok.

The sauna was a bonus too. Great location and value for such a cosy apartment! However, I have to highlight some of the pain points: 1) guest room (the smaller one) only has a glass door which has no privacy a if you come with 2 pairs of couples; 2) the design of the shower place (e.g. the glass screen & drainage outlet), it's too easy to get the whole bathroom wet which is very inconvenient. But overall, I'd still highly recommend it to everyone.

1. Hours of loud terrible noise, all night long. If you want to sleep get ear plugs and double it up. 2. Only two towels, no dry towels the next morning. 3. No curtains on a second window so all street lights at night are in your face. If you can overcome the three issues above you l’ll have a good location to stay at.

Lavinia, Unity and Diana.|We had a wonderful time at Alexei’s penthouse. The interior design complements the stunning views which we spent ages admiring both in the sun and in the rain. We were delighted to arrive to find an immaculately clean, beautifully furnished penthouse. A fine attention to detail by our host ensured that we had everything that we needed for a relaxing stay in Rovaniemi. |The penthouse has an excellent location. Close to the centre and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Also, close to the pickup points for the Lapland tours that we had booked. Santa is only a few kilometres away!

Nordica Design Residence is conveniently located in the city center, walking distance to several restaurants and K-Supermarket. There is a bus stop right opposite the accommodation, and you can wait for a bus that’ll take you to Santa Claus Village/airport/railway station and few other places. There are several bus providers, you can get the bus ticket directly in the bus - payment through cards are available. Alex, our host contacted me via email before we reached Rovaniemi and gave all the instructions to check in. Finland practices a sustainable way of disposing waste. There is a clear instruction in the apt itself and you need to sort it before taking it to the waste containers. The apartment includes a washer, and a drying rack is also provided. Clothes dry effectively with the apartment’s heating system. Kitchen is fully equipped, we managed to prepare some simple meals during our stay. Overall we had an amazing stay here!
