We stayed here one night on our Lapland road trip. Location is great in city center, parking in hotel's garage (19 euros), very friendly front desk. Nice, clean and quiet room, excellent breakfast. All this for reasonable price. What else would you need?

Centrally located. Walking distance to shops and food outlets. Walkable around the river, across the bridges. Variety of restaurants around the hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights and we had an amazing experience! The Hotel is located in the city center and is easily accessible to roam around the city. And there's a bus stop right next to the hotel to take to the Santa Claus Village. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, we always looked forward to the breakfast. Service was wonderful, the clerks were fo friendly and kind and spoke to us in English and helped us out the best they can to suit our needs. I'll definitely come back here again!!

The hotel was ideally situated within walking distance to the vibrant city center and delightful restaurants. We felt fortunate to witness yet another breathtaking display of the aurora borealis shimmering behind the hotel, by the river. Dragons danced and curtains flowed in the sky, creating an unforgettable spectacle…

Good location with easy walking to shops and along the river. Nice bar area for coffee and drinks, friendly front desk staff, and we enjoyed the restaurant. They sometimes catered well for dietaries at breakfast and dinner. |Bed was comfortable and room a decent size. |Hotel seems busy with group travel as foyer was often congested with masses of luggage and people.

We stayed at the Sokos Hotel for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is nice, the dinner was good and enjoyable, and there are separate saunas for men and women. The main drawback was the room size. The rooms felt somewhat cramped, with very limited floor space — there was no convenient place to put our suitcases without them getting in the way. The shower setup was simple and functional, rather than a modern rain-style design. The location was very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we found it convenient location. Just near the river and a few minutes in to town. Lovely friendly ladies on reception. Great food, lovely cosy warm room. All we needed for a comfy few days stay, powerful shower. Very confy. Excellent staff everywhere, decent food and excellent breakfast, loved the whole atmosphere of the place, will be back!!
