An absolutely wonderful one-week stay with our daughter at the end of June! Torraccia di Chiusi is a magical place where every detail is taken care of. Highlights of our stay: Hospitality: Maria gave us a very warm welcome and even helped us with our luggage right away. Comfort: Our room was spotless and fully equipped. The A/C was incredibly efficient and handled the 40°C heatwaves without any issues. Relaxation: With only a few rooms on the property, the place is very peaceful. We often had the large pool entirely to ourselves. Food: The 5-course evening meals by the chef were a true culinary adventure! Brilliant in their simplicity, using fantastic local ingredients. Great Infrastructure: There is covered parking with an EV charger. We brought our e-bikes, and safely storing and charging them was completely hassle-free. Location: Perfect base for cycling. There are plenty of routes around (ours were flawlessly planned by local guide Alessandro ). Vineyard: The owners run a vineyard with a fascinating history that is definitely worth discovering. Amazing hospitality, top-tier amenities, and delicious food. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Tuscany!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Torraccia di Chiusi with our two teenagers, and we all absolutely loved it. The setting is simply beautiful — peaceful, relaxing and surrounded by spectacular Tuscan countryside. The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming, which made our stay feel very special. The food was amazing, the wine varied and delicious and the charming rooms added to the authentic atmosphere. Also, the pool was superb, with breathtaking views that made it the perfect place to unwind after touring around in the mornings (I recommend San Gimignano and the SentierElsa Trail). It’s rare to find somewhere that works so well for the whole family, but Torraccia di Chiusi really did. A truly beautiful, peaceful and memorable stay. We would love to return!

What to say about this magical place; that it is perhaps better not to give a 5-star review to keep this little gem a hidden and secret? Allas, who I am to make this call? So here it goes: enjoying the views, the mere history of the place and more than excellent food … it is the people themselves who make this a magical place. Maria and her charming husband make you feel at home the moment you step into the domain. The secluded area, where 3000 years of history (!!) meets modern times, results in a stay in which everything will be done to make your stay an unforgettable experience… which it was, grazie

The location, accommodations , food and wine are all exemplary! We highly recommend recommend to all travelers for an authentic Tuscan experience…. Especially those people hiking on the Via Francigena!!! It is half way between San Gimignano and Colle Di Val d’Elsa!! It makes the hike a very enjoyable experience!!

If you are looking for an authentic true Tuscan experience then there is no other location than Torriccia di Chiusi! From the traditional rooms with Tuscan antiques, the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and San Gimignano to the outstanding wines and authentic restaurant you will be transformed and restored. The owners and staff especially Maria, really do make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. The location is in a secluded area in the hills near San Gimignano where you can recharge and enjoy the beautiful well maintained grounds and cool off in the picturesque pool. We spent seven days enjoying great wines produced right on the farm by Stefano and elegant evening authentic five course meals lovingly prepared by Bruno outside on the patio as a wonderful Tuscan evening. Maria was so wonderful providing anything and everything we required from even before we arrived and continued throughout our stay. We had a special event one night and had the staff cook up some Tuscan steaks on a special grill that was the best ever. We enjoyed a wine tasting and walking tour of the grounds. Our entire family loved every minute and you will too!

We chose the most perfect destination - every aspect exceeded our hopes of a relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside. The property is remote but accessible and the staff (really feel the proper word is family) who operate the resort cared for every aspect of our stay. Fresh, delectable food at each meal and the evening dinner was a five course dream! Daily hikes and a drive into San Gimignano (walled city approx 20 min drive) were wonderful aspects to the stay. The history and beauty of the property were so mesmerizing and the wine they produce is AMAZING - sent a case home to the US! I hope we can return one day and bring our children as Torraccia di Chiusi is a gift to the soul! You will thank your lucky stars (as did we) that we had the chance to stay in such a beautiful part of the world experiencing the simplicity, joy and pace of Italy that is the most beautiful way of life.

Had absolutely the BEST stay. The people and their kindness here absolutely makes the difference. It’s one of those stays where you get a ‘home’ feeling and feels like family. Besides that, they have very good food and amazing wines. All for a good price. It’s a special Italian family. The stay gave me a very relaxed feeling. Would definitely recommend if you look for a peaceful place to rest with good location (close to visit nice places). I would definitely recommend and go back next year.

We had the most incredible stay here - truly warmed our souls. Stefano and Donatella welcomed us so graciously and we instantly felt like we had stepped into a peaceful paradise. The food was incredible, organically grown on their property and their authenticity was undeniable from the staff (Maria - so lovely) to the property itself to the wine which was some of the best we tasted during our stay. We were close enough to take day trips into nearby towns and then take advantage of the pool to cool down later in the day. One note, the road to the villa is a dirt road that is better suited for a car that is not low in profile - something to keep in mind if you are renting a car. If you are looking for an authentic and true Tuscan experience - look no further. We are so grateful for our time here.
