Everything about this small hotel is fantastic. We are a family of four with twin 5 year olds and this was the perfect family friendly hotel. They have a playground for the kids, a sport court for them to play tennis and futbol and a great pool. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was the best breakfast we had while in Portugal. It is a close 20 minutes to the village of Sintra, and a perfecto place to stay of you want to visit Sintra and get out if Lisbon for a few days. The rooms are very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended if you have kids or otherwise!

We were having horrible phone issues upon arriving in Lisbon. It was a miracle we even made it to our room here! We even lost our access info to get in their gate! But the gentleman that received us was very gracious to help me figure out what my phone could even do, as far as calling for help to get it fixed. Turns out it's very difficult to get a broken phone working, especially in a foreign country when the translator app isn't working & you can't call anyone to help. So to summarize some wisdom, print out everything & don't count on your phones. This place was a safe refuge. Met a great couple at bfast who gave us their contact info for help. This home was beautiful & secluded away from the bustle of Lisbon. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The place is beautiful but owners are not friendly, we felt like were invading their space and breaking their rules. I was taken out of the swimming pool to move car that was not properly parked (on the grass). 5 years old boy was given a wooden chair not to stain proper chair. There three large dogs running around free peeing and pooping… i was given admonition for boy peeing on the bush, too many rules for one day… I feel they care about things but not about people.

This is a lovely house the owners clearly have good attention to detail. We stayed in the deluxe room and it was huge, the bed was incredibly comfy and the sheets were good quality. The host was friendly and helpful. The location feels very remote although it was only a 20 minute drive into sintra for dinner. There's a nice bakery just around the corner. We didnt use the pool as it was covered and the weather wasnt great. Overall a good place to spend one or 2 nights.

The host was amazingly attentive with great home touch feel, artistic architecture and surroundings, fun hobby farm animals, wonderful breakfasts, and overall great experience. We booked for one day and stayed for 3 if that says anything. Host had great background stories, helpful with recommendations, and will even make home cooked meals on request. Enjoy!

Very beautiful village house on the hill with beautiful view. very quiet for great sleeping. Room was fantastic with everything what you need. Even if its far from Lisbon and its middle of nowhere its really great place to stay. Breakfast was quit simple but homemade dinners was amazing. Surely you need to order and try. Appetizer, soup, main course and dessert its fantastic and extremely delicious. You need definitely car to go there because its really in small vilalge. But you can park free in the area of accomodation. I think it the summer its fantastic place to stay because it has swimming pool, golf place, playground and place to play for children. Wifi is poor, shower could have shower screen because if you take shower water is everywhere, paper tissue can be also in the room but that is details. Also language barrier is little problem. Mr. owner speaks english but Mrs. owner nothing and you are mostly in the contact with her.

Beautiful house with an amazing welcome from Maria & her staff. We can honestly say that nothing was too much for them. If you really want to chill out then here is the place. It’s a B & B so you need a car if you want to go out for lunch or dinner. The house is rural with amazing views, is very comfortable & clean and has a lovely pool with sun loungers. There is also a children’s play area but we never saw any children . Thank you for our stay.
