March to May is also pleasant, with warm days cooling into comfortable evenings. Summer (December to February) is hot and humid with frequent rain, while winter (June to August) is cooler but still mild, with the least rainfall.

For first-time visitors, Circular Quay is ideal, with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge nearby; The Langham Sydney and Shangri-La Hotel Sydney are there. The CBD suits those wanting easy access to transport and dining, with options like Little National Hotel Sydney.
