From my perspective, the hotel management should have a serious brainstorming session regarding their room-cleaning procedures. Proper cleaning and hygiene should be a mandatory part of the hotel’s standard service and should never depend on a customer having to request it. Guests should be able to expect that their room, especially the bathroom, is properly cleaned and prepared before arrival. This is a basic standard of hospitality and should be ensured through clear routines and quality checks by the management.

The rooms are cute but they have serious room cleaning issues as explained in many other reviews. I had booked 3 rooms, two of them were not cleaned prior to stay; dirty floors, dirty bathrooms which made the stay feel very unpleasant. Will not stay here again. Location is good breakfast is good .

The room was quite beautiful and antique, but it got hot inside very quickly. While most of the room seemed clean, it was clear the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned as thoroughly, because there were still hairs on the floor and in the shower. Breakfast was good, nice options, soy yoghurts and fruit. Overall I would say it’s a bit too expensive for what you get in return.

Room not clean and musty smell in bathroom. Dirty floors in room and bathroom. Stains on floor. Had booked three rooms and two of the rooms including the bathrooms were not clean, it felt icky and uncomfortable. The front desk leaves at 5pm so was not able to get anyone to clean the rooms properly. |Can NOT recommend this hotel due to cleanliness issues of rooms.|Breakfast good, location great.

The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the ferry station. However, it is centrally located, and within 10 minutes walk, you can reach all parts of Visby. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Most of them also offer a shared terrace. Breakfast is buffet and offers many options. There are some typical swedish treats, but also planty of common food (eggs, waffle, jam, ..). Very recommended!

1st. night, there is a married party from 23 pm to 4.30 am. and made loud noises that distube our sleeping. there are not any one of the hotel staff came to solve this problems. I cannot contact the hotel, so I contact to booking.com's customer service to complain the hotel. In the morning, the hotel offer the compensation to give me back for parking fee (200 sek) which shown in messages of booking.com, but they gave me 2 little bottles of beer (price approx, 50 sek for 2) .

Great service and a very cute hotel! We had our own balcony (which is what we requested) and that was very nice. It was also pretty quiet on the top floor, so we could sleep well. Just a few small annoyances that pushes it down to 4 stars for me. The breakfast was good, but it didn't have that much variety, only sandwiches and some cereal. It might just be my preference, but I would prefer a larger selection so that you could eat different breakfasts each day. There was a stage placed in the backyard that sullied the view a bit. It's probably not there usually though. The doors in our room were prone to getting stuck, and you'd have to pull a lot to manage to open them. Though overall a very good experience! I could definitely see myself coming back another time!

This place is really nice and has a really nice breakfast. Love the garden and the whole setup. The rooms are simple, slightly dated bathroom but the location and the service makes up for it. Great location close by the city but just outside enough to be quiet. Close to the water/beach and the botanical garden. The bar/cafe doesn't have long opening hours which is sad because a nice cup of coffee in the garden is nice anytime of the day.
