This hotel is very well situated next to the lake and old town. The rooms are clean, comfortable and with either a nice view of the lake or the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, put out refreshments in the afternoon (treats, frozen drinks and flavored water). This hotel is committed to sustainability, which is nice. The provide a reusable glass water bottle with hydration stations on each floor. |My only critique would be the breakfast. There were lots of options, including cereals, breads/pastries, meats, crepes, pancakes, etc. My issue was the flies around the pastries and meats. I realize it sometimes cannot be helped, and this was honestly the only somewhat negative thing about the stay. I would still highly recommend staying here, and would stay here again!

We stayed at le splendid, Annecy for 3 nights. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Great bed and great shower. Breakfast was delicious with very good selection. Best thing about the hotel were the extremely helpful and efficient members of staff. Nice touches of slushy, cakes and free minibar were very much appreciated.

From the moment we walked in, the first thing you could notice was the warm smiles of the reception team as they greeted us. Nothing but exceptional service, exceptional location, and exceptional rooms. Nothing only this but the breakfast too was brilliant! The serene atmosphere really added to the experience of our hotel, with the reception being stocked with detox water, and mini-beignets available as well. The hotel reception staff were able to make amazing recommendations from what to do and where to eat. When the weather took a turn for the worse, and it began to rain, they kindly stocked us with umbrellas for our entire family. The hotel room was brilliant, perfectly cleaned on every occasion, with no cause for concern. There were little occasions if any where we could hear any loud noises or shouting from other rooms, and even if there were, it would not have been the fault of the hotel. Very good value - even offered us paddle boards to use. Lake Annecy is amazingly clear and a must-do part of Annecy. The rooms were very good, especially for the brilliant location, and lovely balcony with the cover to prevent it getting wet, brilliant atmosphere surrounding us, and very cheap/ good value for this exceptional hotel!

We had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it very easy to explore Annecy’s old town and the nearby attractions on foot. The room was a good size, clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay even more comfortable. A special thank you to one of the older gentlemen at the reception desk. He was always welcoming, courteous, and willing to help whenever we had a question. His professionalism really stood out. There are a few points that I think could be improved. The room did not include complimentary bottled drinking water, and guests are expected to refill the reusable bottle themselves. Also, there was no luggage assistance available when we arrived. One small incident left us a little uncomfortable. After leaving a small bag of trash outside our room near the housekeeping service area, I felt that one of the housekeeping staff looked at me in an unfriendly way. It may simply have been a misunderstanding, but I believe every guest should feel comfortable and treated with courtesy throughout their stay.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of May. We had an amazing time. Our room was 506 and was just perfect. A balcony overlooking the lake and mountains and a very comfy bed. The entire hotel’s decor is superb and our room was the same. Complimentary mini fridge was a nice touch and refilled each day. It is a perfect location near to the lake and the old town. The staff were all very helpful, polite and clearly enjoyed their jobs. We had breakfast each day and there was always a varied choice including eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, cereal, breads, jam and honey. Annecy itself is just so beautiful and would recommend to anyone, and an easy 30 minute commute to Geneva airport. If you’re heading to Annecy, you must book this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Our highlight was hiring bikes and going on a 40km lap of the beautiful lake. Only one strady hill, bit just take your time. So many places to stop at, take photos and drink in the sureoundings. Make sure you go in a clockwise direction so you go down the steep hairpin bends and not up them!

We loved the location and the friendly staff. Beware that the AC is not turned on before May 1 no matter how warm it is. The street side is very noisy at night with a window open to cool the room. The bath/shower is very slick, so we had to line it with a towel as no bath mat was provided. There were very limited gluten-free options for celiacs at breakfast and the staff is not well-trained. The Slake Cafe down the street is a good option for gluten-free breakfast.

Good location right near the city center. But This hôtel doesn't deserve to be called a four-star hotel. The reception area -salon is very small. The receptionist was unwelcoming. The manager, young woman wasn't friendly or kind. They gave us a room next to the elevator on 2nd Floor, there was terrible noise coming from the technical room. So we asked to change, and they gave us a much smaller and sad room on 1st Floor. Considering the price we paid, this hotel is too expensive. Breakfast was quite good 23€/ person. I will never come back.

The hotel is very nice. The breakfast was good and 0630-1000. Not a super large breakfast area but the hotel is not too big. Avoid the rooms ending in -16 as they look into a weird alleyway and do not have much light. But that actually makes it ok to sleep. For parking they give you a voucher that covered for the evenings. Left a car across the street at parking garage for 3 days and with the vouchers it was 13.60 which is affordable good deal. Good location right by the lake, but on a main road if that bothers you. The gym is really minimal no real weights just maybe 8 kilo as the highest and only 4 sets and the room is really small. More than one person would be tough I would return here for the right price.
