Highly recommend this hotel. Our family of 4 recently stayed in a Mezzanine room which offered some separation with the two-level loft. Our particular room overlooked the lake which was lovely. The room is not overly spacious, but it worked and the high ceiling and loft helped. We enjoyed the grab and go bakery on the ground floor each day, as well as the pool and cocktail deck. Everything was clean and modern. AC was good as well. The location was excellent - 5/10 minute walk to old town which made evening meals and strolls effortless. The train / bus terminal was about 20 minutes, very doable without luggage but we did taxi upon arrival from Paris. Annecy is beautiful and charming; I would definitely stay here again should we return.

Amazing location, short walk to the old town and the lake. Beautiful views of the lake from one side of the building, and on the other views of a lovely park. The staff were friendly, the pastries downstairs were very popular and a nice feature, filtered tap for drinking water on every floor. I would 100% recommend.

Le Pelican is situated on a very busy main road where traffic is constant. Our room was at the back of the hotel which was lovely and quiet however the view wasn’t anything special. We had a classic room which was compact but spotless with a fully equipped modern bathroom which had an excellent shower. |The rooftop bar is a lovely area, however the opening times seemed to be a bit hit and miss as were some of the staff! Some waiting staff were helpful and attentive while others ignored us. The food choice on the bar menu wasn’t great and when we did order a portion of chips they took 45 mins to arrive!|The restaurant food was ok at best. We had the steak which was tasteless and grissly, the lamb which was tiny with minimal flavour and the Caesar salad was actually excellent. Again the service wasn’t great, more often than not we had to look for staff to order more food/drinks, very rarely did someone come and ask us if we’d like anything else. We ate at several other nearby hotels whilst in Annecy all of which were better than Le Pelican.|This hotel also lacks a comfortable indoor space to sit and relax, even the reception area only has 4 freestanding small chairs. |The cafe at the entrance to the hotel is however exceptional: great snacks, cakes, coffee and staff.|The overall location of the hotel is its major advantage- the views of the lake and the short walk to the lake, park and old town are ideal. Would we visit Annecy again? Yes, definitely.|Would we stay at Le Pelican again? All things considered, sadly not. Such a shame as it could be an amazing hotel but we felt it was let down by the food choice and quality, and by the major lack of service from some waiting/bar staff.

Great location, quieter part and yet walking distance to the town centre. There are also a few car parks near by, so easy to park in one of those and then walk to the hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and the room is spacious. The cafe on the ground floor was a nice place for breakfast. We tried to rent ebikes but since we didn't book in advance, we couldn't find any. It was great they hotel also a couple there for rental so we did that and they were great. Service was very good as well, everyone was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here! The staff were great and despite arriving at 21:30 we were still able to eat in the lovely restaurant and had a great meal. The Hotel is perfectly situated lake side and a short stroll into the old town. There are gorgeous views of the lake from the rooms on the front and from the glass 'part' of the hotel restaurant. (Worth reserving a table with a view in advance). Rooms were modern and nicely decorated. We'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. 5 star cleanliness. Best location on the lake front. Staff very friendly. Cafe/Bakery in the lobby area. Excellent for grabbing morning coffee and baked goods on the go! Get a private car pick up from Geneva airport it’s only 45 minutes as parking is limited. Rooms are well appointed and very clean.

Loved this hotel. It had everything- location, bar, restaurant with well appointed and detailed rooms to provide maximum storage and functionality but still beautiful modern decor. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Stay here! Great value!
