The staff were very friendly and accommodating always lots of smiles. The location was perfect to be able to walk most of the Historic section. The rooms are exactly as described. Breakfast was ample and the restaurant staff were great. And parking underneath was a bonus our rental was secure.

Caution: this hotel looks good in the photos but in reality is tired and old. While they advertise 3 and 4 stars - it deserves less. For the same price you can find a clean updated room inside the historic center. On the positive side, the location is excellent and staff are super helpful.|All in all, I would NOT return to this hotel.

Rooms are small and expansive and we were not happy with their personal. They wanted to get some tips all the time, even in unlogical situation and they were rude when they didnt get (they ask for tip in middle of breakfast and then take unfinished plate from me while I was still eating, because they didnt get any etc.) We didnt feel welcome here and will definately never come back.

I loved my room in Hotel del Paseo. It was a bit outdated but the mattress and pillows were perfect. The bathroom is great, good hot shower. And a nice little balcony at the covered paseo, to dry some clothes or get some fresh air in. Very friendly staff. Check-in was fast and professional. It is just a few blocks away from the historical center. In a quiet neighborhood. next to a government health clinic. Parking garage available. For COVID, they have hand gel everywhere, you are checked for temperature upon entering but it is not everywhere in your face so to speak, you still feel welcome and a guest.

We tried 4 hotels in the narrow streets which were full, got recommended to this one. We hadn't read any of the smell reviews or we wouldn't have gone there! It was just for one night till we could get into our preferred hotel and was good enough. Good sized room. Had an outside window. Did not have a smell! Bed was very comfy, wifi was excellent, shower pressure was amazing. There was some echo noise from the indoor shopping plaza below but that stopped early. Secure onsite underground parking. Helpful chap on reception. Can't really fault this hotel.

The hotel accommodations met expectations; however, the breakfast service was suboptimal. The staff exhibited stress and impatience, resulting in inadequate presentation of breakfast options. The lack of English-speaking breakfast staff, while perhaps understandable in the current context, remains a concern.

19°50'36.18"N 90°32'29.26"W We got to the hotel and were greeted warmly by the receptionist. When I opened the door to my room , I realized they had given me a suite. This was great. I had a full living room and a small dining room, a Microwave, a small fridge a sink etc. Also an extra television (there was one in the room) The room was very impressive (275 sq feet) and the bathroom was ok. However, because the shower opened against the toilet, you couldn’t open it all the way which could make it difficult for large persons to enter into the shower. A design error. The hotel is about 5 streets from the Centro historico but across the street is the sea. (I couldn’t see it from my room) There are restaurants not far from the hotel but you have no activity. You have to go to the Centro for that. Ou can take a walk on the Costera which is right on the sea. There is a restaurant but the service leaves a bit to be desired. I had to ask my waiter to smile. I would have liked the hotel even without the suite but would have preferred a room with a view to the sea. Location leaves a bit to be desired.
