Well worth the extra few bucks! I had one of my most testing travel days ever coming to Agra, so having my best hostel experience was a much appreciated experience. Landing at the hostel at 2am, they got me checked in and taken care of. Helped me plan my next travel day to make the transfer more seamless. Beautiful room. Rooftop view of Taj Mahal. Amazing breakfast. Kind and helpful staff

Response from the property

Zo Zo Zo Joshua! Turning a testing travel day into your best hostel experience is exactly what we're here for. So happy our rooftop view, amazing breakfast, and team could make it all seamless. The door's always open for you, come back and claim that sunrise view!

We had a great stay at this hotel! A special thanks to the receptionist Jitu, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Always smiling and happy to assist with any questions or requests. The excellent hospitality really made a difference. Highly recommended!

One of the best Zostel’s I’ve ever stayed at! Clean, cafe is good, great views, Taj Mahal is close. There is just one problem- the location is a bit tricky to find for the ones who are visiting for the first time. The staff guides you if you can’t find it, just call them. Very warm and hospitable staff.

By far the best experience I’ve had with hostels! The dorm is extremely clean, has lockers & the attached washroom is comfortable. The hostel is far from the city but is very close to the Taj Mahal. The receptionist is extremely welcoming & helpful! I checked-in at mid-night & he was courteous enough to stay awake & check me in!

This is a beautiful place, tastefully done, warm vibe, and full of potential. Which is exactly why the service failures sting more. In India, hospitality isn’t optional; Atithi Devo Bhava isn’t just a slogan.|At night, the common area becomes a safety hazard. Water around the dispenser (leak/spill—honestly irrelevant) caused me to slip and injure my knee. When I shouted, two staff members were busy arguing among themselves. Even after telling them I’d fallen, no concern, no apology. One of them nearly slipped himself. That says enough.|Basic hostel etiquette was missing too. No duvet provided—I had to come down and ask at night. Top bunks have zero privacy: no curtains, no shielding. When raised, the response at the counter was rude and dismissive. Sad, really.|Credit where it’s due, the gentleman who checked me in was excellent, friendly, helpful, and warm. He mentioned having worked at The Hosteller before, and it shows. That’s the energy this place desperately needs across the board.|I genuinely love the property (missed the rooftop café, unfortunately), but a great space cannot compensate for indifferent service. Beauty draws guests in. Hospitality makes them return.

Overall, a well located and comfortable place to stay if you want to be near to the Taj Mahal for sunrise especially (15 minute walk). We had difficulty reaching here via Tuktuk due to the smaller roads around the Taj being closed and it wasn't especially clear on how exactly to reach the hotel - google maps isn't necessarily accurate! The hostel itself is well maintained. We had a beautiful private room. Rested well, although music on the rooftop during the evening can disrupt if you're looking for a super early night! There was a rooftop restaurant but we didn't try it. Check in was a hassle, having to scan a qr code and enter details ourselves rather than the front desk doing it as most hotels usually do. Friendly receptionist staff who were helpful in arranging private cars or tuktuk to railway station.

Absolutely loved my stay. The location is brilliant so close to the Taj Mahal. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! The staff was so kind and helped us by giving us advice on trains. Really enjoyed staying here!!
