Wow!! This place is incredible!! Out of our 3 weeks of traveling across Australia this place has stood out! To start off, it has an amazing view of the blue Whitsunday water and boats! It has an almost perfect location, as it’s about two blocks away from the city life (though it feels far enough away for a peaceful stay). The rooms are relaxing, very clean, and spacious, we have no complaints. And the people who run this place are just the cherry on top! Absolutely delightful to talk to and they are always ready to give you local recommendations. We had lovely fruit trays and toast, cereal, yogurt, and homemade treats for breakfeast. There’s a beautiful shaded outside area for the hotter months too! Everything is so organized and clean everywhere you look. We have no complaints at all! We will be recommending this stay to anyone that we know in the area!

Just left Mick & Megan’s beautiful spot a couple of days ago. A fantastic setting just 5 mins walk away from the hustle & bustle of Airlie beach town. They have created something really special, a real homely environment, beautifully presented where you can just hang out and relax with stunning views. Mick is on hand, should you require to offer his expertise on the area and his local recommendations are always spot on. Would definitely stay again should we be in the area. It was Top Banana mate!! 😀

Mick and Megan are wonderful hosts. You will see more of Mick as he runs the place and and he always ready to please and very helpful. This is the second time we have stayed here, the last time 3 years ago. As spotless as usual with a touch of class. We stayed upstairs this time as we are Country people who live in the bush.not used to noise from feet above ( probably wouln't effect most people).|Not far from shops and relatively easy walk but does involve a moderate hill.Great little organic cafe next to the gym across the main road.|We stayed in Airlie Beach for 22 days, 11 of them here. Overall it was probably too long in Airlie as we got a bit bored the third week. Finding healthy food in Airlie is a bit of a problem as plenty of burgers, steak and chips and not cheap. Made sure we had a good free breakfast at the property which provided all we needed. All equipment is there to cook your own food too which is advised to save 'your pennies'.|Finish by saying Airlie has gone downhill in 3 years. Much more expensive and a lot more people around. Very noisy hotels on the main strip so if you want peace and quiet don't go near them.

Airlie Guest House, is one of those properties that will be remembered fondly long after you have left. |My wife and I stayed here for two nights recently while visiting the Whitsundays. Owners, Mick and Megan Drennan, have created a most welcoming place to drop your bundle and enjoy the highlights of the Airlie region. | A homelike atmosphere, with the freedom to use the house as you would your own, makes for a welcoming place to return to at the end of a day exploring. |If self catering is the way you like to roll, there is a fully equipped kitchen with access to basic supplies, a full size fridge for guests to share, gas hot plates, oven and microwave. Mick even encouraged us to help ourselves to the small herb garden near the clothesline. Only a few minutes drive to centre of Airlie beach and the Marina for all Whitsunday island day trips or a short walk downhill into town to access some great restaurants. The house is tastefully decorated with a wrap around deck overlooking the township and water - a great place to enjoy a drink or sit quietly on the sofas provided with a good book. |A continental breakfast was included each morning as well as good ground coffee and tea.|Comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, laundry facilities, beach towels for hire if needed and constant attention to detail are hallmarks of this excellent accommodation. |Offstreet parking is also available.|And don’t forget to read the book , telling the story of the house renovations… makes this property even more appealing.|Don’t look elsewhere… this is a gem

We absolutely love our stay at Airlie Guest House! From the first moment we walked in, it already felt like home. Everything was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The view is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect so close to the beach, the center, and everything you need. One of the best locations in town with the most amazing view. A huge thank you to Mick for being such a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the tranquil Airlie Guest House. The owners Mick and Megan are lovely, are the perfect hosts and ensured our stay was comfortable from the moment we checked in to our departure. The guest house is spotlessly clean and feels like a real home away from home. The garden is beautiful and so peaceful with a stunning view of the sea. It is the perfect place to slow down, unwind and look out for some cockatoos! We also really appreciated the delicious fresh fruit platter and freshly-baked banana muffins every morning. Thank you Mick, Megan and the team for making our stay in Airlie Beach so comfortable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem in Airlie Beach! Airlie Guest House exceeded our expectations in every way. Mick as a host is simply outstanding – helpful, friendly and always there when you need something. You feel at home straight away. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The sea view from the beautiful terrace is a real bonus – we loved relaxing there in the mornings over the DIY breakfast. The location is perfect: everything within walking distance, with the town centre right on your doorstep. The shared kitchen has everything you could ask for, and the whole place has a warm, cosy atmosphere that’s hard to beat. In short: nothing is missing here. We will definitely be back!
