Tripadvisor· 2 months agoBooked for a three night stay. Lovely location, everything is in walking distance. Dark haired female staff at the desk was lovely and very polite. There is no elevator within, only stairs for anyone bringing a case. After entering our room we noticed multiple damages which had not been repaired (photos attached) cracks behind the sockets, no toilet flush cover, broken shower head holder, broken bathroom door handle and ripped bed throws. The room was not clean, extremely dusty and stains on the pillowcases. The rooms are small and require a good freshen up. There is also no fridge within the room. It is advertised there is a cupboard/ wardrobe, the cupboard is extremely dirty. There is also no lock on the bathroom door. When I spoke to staff regarding the damages in the room, the tall, slim dark haired gentleman at reception was extremely rude and uninterested. He told me there was nothing that could be done and the toilet flush cover had been ordered next day delivery. When I asked the following day I was informed it will not be delivered until the weekend (after our checkout date) we were offered a smaller room with single beds and when I queried if I would be refunded for the change in room, and unhygienic damages he stated he would speak to the manager but later informed me it is not possible. Overall very disappointed with the room it is absolutely not worth the money. I would not recommend and would not return to this hotel.

Google· 3 months agoGreat hotel to stay in the middle on Annecy. Nice staff, easy check in, nice breakfast and with bag storage. Would recommend if staying in Annecy. Some reviews suggest it was loud but I did not have that problem but I did stay on a Sunday night.

Google· 5 months agoA small hotel right in the heart of the old town. The biggest advantage is definitely the location only 10 minutes from the train station and surrounded by the beauty of the old city. On the downside, there is constant noise because the city is literally living under your window, with restaurants and people outside all the time. The hotel itself is also quite old, with dark little rooms and an overall tired-looking atmosphere.

Tripadvisor· 10 months agoI have been to Annecy many times but never to this hotel. First of all it's pretty central but, to be fair, the historical center is pretty small anyway so all hotels in the area arent far from it. The price I paid (booking a couple of months in advance) was very good for Annexy standards (I think it was around 70/80 euros for a single room) and what i got was a small but clean room, a comfortable bed and no noise since it wasnt facing the street. The bathroom was small but functional, I did notice some stains on the shower ceiling though. The staff is very kind, check in is at 3pm, check out at noon, there is a breakfast option for about 10 euros but I didnt have it. Overall, the value for money I got was excellent.

Google· 11 months agoWe booked a room via booking.com. When we got there, the front desk lady told us there are two rooms available, and gave us both keys to go and have a look and choose whichever we want. We chose the room with the view to the nearby pedestrian zone. She warned us that the room may be a bit noisy, but we didn’t have any problems related to noise coming from the street. The room was overall clean, but the bed a bit uncomfortable, but we can excuse this, because we booked only one night. Overall, everything was good, but nothing fabulous, you get pretty much what you paid. There are a lot a lot of shops, restaurants and cafe nearby, so plenty of things to do. Breakfast was at an extra 10,5€.

Tripadvisor· a year agoLocation was excellent and staff were very friendly. There was some noise at night given it was a Friday but very manageable for one night. The room did have a few slightly broken or unkept aspects, but overall a good stay and value for money in comparison to other rates nearby
