Service was exceptional and staff is very welcoming and friendly. Beautiful villas that were clean and had comfortable beds. Lots of wildlife and lushus green grounds along the pathways. Large pool area with lounger chairs. I was served one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had (Duluti club sandwich-order it! You won’t regret it). Had a nice chat with the manager/owner (?) Ashray who explained that most of the vegetables are grown on site and they have a sizeable farm on the grounds. We especially liked the avocados! We have hours until we leave for the airport and staff are gracious in keeping us comfortable until we depart. I was happy to spend our last night of our safari journey here at Lake Duluti lodge. Asante sana!

We had a short but wonderful stay at Lake Duluti Lodge. We were there after our spectacular safari through Masai mara and the Northern Serengeti. So, we thought our tour operator just got us a nice hotel so we could rest before our international flight. We were so surprised to find this delightful lodge completely surrounded by native forest, away from the chaos of the city. The tropical foliage was a wonderful contrast to our days in the dry and breezy savannah. This was a green sanctuary with great service and delicious food. Having gotten used to the wilderness camps, we were afraid to walk the grounds without an escort. The staff assured us this hotel compound was protected by an electric fence, and only cute and small animals were allowed inside. The friendly pool attendant also showed us the rare Colobus monkeys hiding high up in the trees. The most amazing experience we had at this hotel was meeting the hotel manager Ashray, who came to our table to chat during dinner. Then, he agreed to lead a tour of their coffee plantation and organic farms the next morning after breakfast. He spent over 3 hours showing us all the interesting plants and animals, as well as the history in that area. He also took us to the local market, and explained things, and purchased some small items for someone in our group at local's prices. We were wowed by the kindness of people we met in our entire trip. But Ashray's generosity was memorable. It was a grand finale of our adventures in East Africa. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Very good service here. We met the chef when he was picking veggies from the garden. And he cooked perfect steaks and fresh salad for our dinner. The lodge's ground was large, and has a trail for walking to the lake. There were beautiful black-and-white monkeys in the woods. Very quiet. Near the entrance, you can view my. Meru.

Started our Africa journey here relaxing and catching up with the time zone after 2 long flights. Amazing peaceful place. Super pleasant staff, always willing to help & answer questions! The manager stopped by our table several times to chat and at dinner he even took away our plates. It's definitely a team spirit here!|Some highlights were a massage by Ester and a walk to the lake with Laurent who spotted a bush buck, colobus monkeys and dickdick He "called" out the monkeys so we got a lot of great photos. We also saw a blue monkey the first day just on the way to breakfast.|The room was spacious and the beds comfy. Dinners are a set meal but interesting and delicious options.

We were part of A&K's Mt Kilimanjaro adventure. As part of that, they put us up at lake Duluti lodge. The entire grounds were amazing and i must say the staff went above and beyond expectations. The food here is amazing, most of it comes from their garden on site. Even the manager, Ashray, helped us with issues we were having and helped me find some specialized items we needed for the trip that we did not bring from the states. You can not go wrong with Lake Duluti Lodge.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back home to be near the airport, and this lodge was the perfect place to relax after safari. Beautiful location near a quiet tranquil lake. The grounds are gorgeous and well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and clean with a wonderful large tub and huge windows to showcase the surroundings so you feel like you're immersed in the jungle. Thank you to the warm, welcoming staff for allowing us to check out late and stay in the lounge area while we waited for our late pick up to the airport!

From the moment I arrived at Lake Duluti Lodge, I knew I had found a hidden gem. Forget overly expansive grounds; this lodge is an intimate, calm oasis that delivers an experience beyond expectation, highlighted by its outstanding food, beautifully appointed rooms, and truly excellent service. The welcome was immediate and refreshing, with cold towels and fresh juice setting the tone for a luxurious stay. Stepping into my private room/bungalow felt like entering a secluded retreat. I was spoiled with a grand, canopied, four-poster bed, a spacious sitting area complete with a large sofa, and modern amenities like air conditioning and a large screen TV. The expansive bathroom was a sanctuary in itself, featuring both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Best of all, floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom opened up stunning views of lush tropical greenery, making it feel completely immersive. Evenings here are magical. We enjoyed delightful cocktails on the terrace and were treated to the unexpected sight of playful Colobus monkeys swinging in the treetops above! Dining on the covered porch overlooking a peaceful water feature was an absolute pleasure; the food was uniformly excellent, and the wonderful service made every meal feel special. While we only enjoyed one night, the next day offered a truly fascinating highlight: a tour of their garden and an immersive lesson in coffee production. Our guide, Laurent, was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insights on local plants, the many uses of banana leaves, the variety of vegetables and fruits grown, and the complete history of coffee. We followed the process from coffee seeds on the bushes, to husking the dried seeds, and even helped with the roasting and grinding of the beans. For future travelers seeking a calm, relaxing stay with unexpected luxury and engaging experiences, I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Lake Duluti Lodge. It is simply wonderful.
