I stayed one night in this hotel as part of 14 day Rumara Safari. Stayed on first floor. View of garden. Nice restaurant, ordered if the menu and was included in our package. Comfortable hotel w hot shower. Security guard.

Very friendly front-desk woman who carried my bags in. Room was clean and they even agreed to hold my bag for me while I do my safari trip. Restaurant was great too and well-priced and good quality. One of the better places I’ve stayed at. Also near to an ATM and a supermarket which helped! Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation is very much a budget place, from a not working safe to the room esthetics. This is fine for the price. The things which were really bad were that we booked a taxi with the charity hotel and it just didn't come. We then took a taxi and there was zero acknowledgement for this happening. There was also very loud music right next to our room all night. The windows couldn't be fully closed either. The restaurant was good.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here (about $50 USD/night) in July, as did various day trips around Kilimanjaro. The inside of the hotel is a bit dated, mostly evident in the bathrooms, but it is good and clean for a value hotel. We had some leaking from the toilet pipe when we first got in, and it was fixed promptly the next morning. We had a nice large room with a balcony and even a little sitting/living room area. The best part of the hotel is the grounds; beautiful and unique flora all around the garden; with the big walls and gate, it really feels like a very safe and serene oasis. The food at the free breakfast buffet is excellent, with delicious breads, veggies, protein, fresh juice, and made-to-order eggs. We enjoyed the breakfast more than the dinner options (a la carte menu); though dinner was at least well-priced. Also we loved doing our day trips with Wales (pronounced like “Wall-is”), the driver who has a relationship with the hotel. He was friendly, professional, and very flexible.

A reasonable budget hotel with reasonable prices for food. Basic facilities and poor wifi. Staff seem to be distracted by other things when they are serving you. For example, it took them 15 minutes to find out my booking and talked to colleagues while serving you. Had a good sleep before and after my safari trip.

I recently stayed at The Charity Hotel in Arusha and had a great experience. The hotel provides a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere with comfortable rooms and well-maintained surroundings. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. The food was delicious, and the location made it convenient to explore Arusha and prepare for safari adventures. I appreciated the cleanliness, security, and relaxing environment throughout my stay. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arusha in 2026 Best regards Godwin Alfred Ngaiza
