Stayed during the busy season so the price was very high unfortunately the service didn't match. Our room was not well maintained during our stay, they would refresh the towels in the bathroom and drop off coffee for the drip maker. The towels and wash cloths for the tub were left dirty and untouched, the coffee pot would not be cleaned, bed would be crudely made. Normally wouldn't complain for this class of hotel but with the price we expected better service. Garage is very tight and not suited for larger vehicles. The climate system in the room worked well as did the jetted tub.

The hotel itself was not bad, although we paid over $400 a night (it was peak season). The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The location was close to everything. The hotel did provide free bus passes but the forgot to give them to us on check in, so we didn’t know about them until we asked about how to take the bus the next day. My hubby loved the bath products. The service is where this place really took a dive. The staff were not very attentive and we had to actually interrupt the staffs conversation after the just continued to talk while we stood at the desk. The housekeeping was almost non existent. The bed was not made, the coffee pot not emptied, one day the didn’t even pick up the dirty towels. She did empty the trash daily but that seemed to be the extent of the cleaning.

The hotel feels a bit dated, but the room was spacious, neat, and tidy. The towels weren't sparkling white but were acceptable. My favorite part was the bathroom amenities—the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were amazing! The only downside was the pool hours (9 AM - 9 PM); we got back past 10 PM and couldn't use it. It would be perfect if they could extend the pool hours.

Was very surprised by how big the room was! Room met our needs perfectly. And was surprised that the room was cleaned on after our first day and towels replaced. Didn't happen the next day though. Was a bit disappointed that breakfast wasnt included, ceiling fan was COATED with dust and the mattress wasn't that great for me but my family had no issues. But again, really nice hotel for the need we needed it for.

I felt completely taken advantage of. I understand that supply greatly outstrips demand, in Banff, in June and prices will be high. I don't mind paying the "going rate". But when I pay $560 for a room, I expect it to be at least average size and in good repair, with decent (not luxurious) amenities. My room was in a remote corner of the floor with a door propped open into the hall, partially blocking the path to the room and the one next door. Carpets were worn and stained. The room was tight, being 2/3 the size of a typical moderately priced hotel. There were stains on the bathroom wall and trim was worn, scuffed or rusty in several places. They apparently don't worry too much about the experience of their guests. Breakfast was not included. I give two stars because staff in the hallway were pleasant and friendly and the bed was comfortable. Avoid Irwin's Mountain Inn.

Honestly, wouldn’t stay here again! It’s somewhat OK. The location is not that great. Walking to the town centre can take a long time. However, the service is great people are very nice and when we asked for later, check out, they gave us two more hours!! The rooms are plain and simple. ( However, in somewhat rough condition ) The colour of the walls are these this bad yellow colour. More older design The bathrooms have a new bathtub which is kind of nice. However, the hinges in the bathroom are very dirty. And one of the lights switches has a scratch on it!! Also, the security latch on the door wasn’t even there!!! altogether, the rooms are a little rundown I maybe would stay at another place in the future.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel on a whim the day before we left a little Banff weekend and it was a great choice! We booked their King Deluxe room (or something like that) and it had a balcony with an amazing view as well as a comfy bed and a 2 person jetted tub that was perfect for us 2. The bathroom was very nice as well and we enjoyed the size of the room (very high vaulted ceilings) The TV also had a firestick connected and we were able to use our Netflix while we there. The hotel itself had friendly staff and is in a decent location, not too far from all the shops but far enough where there's not as much noise from tourists. There's a gas station basically in front of the hotel as well. One thing to note is that their parking garage is VERY small, not a whole lot of height for sure. We brought my chevy equinox (smaller suv) and it was able to fit but my antenna did scrape areas. most likely more suitable for camrys, jettas etc. There were other spots outside of the parkade where bigger vehicles were parked but their limited. Other then that, we would stay here again! I saw a lot of reviews saying the rooms were dated but honestly, as someone who grew up going to multiple hotels and now working in a industry where a travel everyweek, the rooms were not that dated. They seemed perfectly fine for the price.

We stayed two nights here on the outer edge of Banff (it's not huge) as park of a coach tour. Although dated, the room was clean and the bed cosy with everything we needed. Our room was ground floor, facing a car park so not glamorous, but still quiet and spacious. An in-room safe would have been helpful. I suspect modernising it , although parts of it were in dire need, would take away the charm. We even made use of the biglovely hot tub and the attached restaurant, which was good. Everyone was helpful and friendly and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The bus stop to get into the centre is right outside and they are very frequent. All around you outside the mountains soar up. Banff is gorgeous.
