This hotel exceeded all expectations! The location is ideal—within walking distance of the main shops, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. Our room was spacious and offered stunning mountain views.|The spa was hands-down the best I’ve experienced at any hotel. Heading back mid-day to unwind in the hot tubs and sauna was a huge highlight, and every area was kept spotlessly clean. We also loved the attached restaurant and enjoyed poolside drink service, both of which were top-tier. I can’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were clean and well kept, but just need a bit more lighting. The location is perfect and you just need 5 minutes to walk into the centre. Definitely want to highlight the friendliness and attentive service we received from Glorian at the front desk. He was exceptionally kind towards my children, and took time to learn all our names and was on hand to help with anything we needed! Thank you!!

The Kenrick is the best kept secret in Banff. They opened in April 2025 after a 2+ year re-haul of the prior hotel, and it’s just beautiful. Rooms are crisp, clean, modern, and very comfortable. The pool area has 2 hot tubs, a wet and dry sauna, and a cold plunge area - it’s basically a hydrotherapy spa for hotel guests at no extra cost. And the Fat Ox is fabulous, especially for their 1p to 4p happy hour slot. Food is high quality and delicious, and drinks shine here as well. I think it was too new to show up on T+L’s top list of places to stay in Banff, but I sure am glad I found it. We slept great here and it was very walkable to all the shops and restaurants, and we loved the “order ahead online” at Analog Coffee which made our mornings a breeze. If you like a nice place to stay and don’t mind paying the commensurate price, this place is for you.

We had a fantastic & memorable weekend at the Kenrick celebrating my husband’s birthday. This hotel is so beautiful! We appreciated the thoughtfulness that has gone into everything from the lobby (classy & welcoming, with books, board games, and comfortable seating) to our room which exceeded expectations. We slept so well! The bed & bedding are luxurious & so comfortable. There are thoughtful little touches in the room like a Nespresso machine, a sound machine (although it was so quiet we didn’t need it) and lovely plush robes — which are so great to have relaxing in your room or walking to the pool area which is definitely the highlight of your stay. Hard to say enough good things about this amazing bonus to your stay at the Kenrick. I loved the spa/hot tub and my husband used everything -cold plug, sauna & steam room. Even the pool itself is pretty special being a salt water pool. And there’s a pool menu if you like! Highly recommend staying here and without a doubt we will be back!!!Thank you Kenrick for a memorable weekend.

For great service, a comfortable and clean room, and a hotel with quality amenities, look no further. From check in, Sony ensured our bags made their way to our room, and she went the extra mile to ensure our stay met our expectations! Fransisco alone deserves 5+ stars. My Fiancée and I value great service and a good nights sleep when we travel (often weekly). We’ve visited many 5 star resorts and Fransisco gave us the best customer service we have received from a hotel. He provided great food and attraction recommendations and helped us pick a great wine, delivered our room! The service here goes the extra mile!

Outstanding hotel. Very modern, clean room and hotel. Quiet location as just on edge of town but minutes to walk in. Bathroom very clean and nice, bed super comfy. The duvet was a bit too heavy for spring but you have the option of a sheet. Great touches with a Nespresso machine and lovely dressing gowns. You can hear the train at night but that’s the same from everywhere in town. It didn’t bother us and wasn’t an issue. Parking under hotel is helpful too with no additional cost.Loved it here.

A Perfect Luxury Escape in the Heart of Banff! My husband and I stayed at The Kenrick for my birthday weekend, and it was absolutely flawless. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a King Room with a mountain view, and it was stunning. The room was so large and spacious that it felt more like a luxurious primary bedroom than a standard hotel room. I especially loved the modern mid-century vibe of the decor—it was beautifully designed and felt very sophisticated yet comfortable. It’s also perfectly located right on the main street just a few minutes' walk from all the best shops and restaurants, making it so easy to explore Banff. If you’re looking for a high-end, comfortable, and perfectly located stay in Banff, I can’t recommend The Kenrick enough. We can’t wait to come back!
