Enjoyed a brief stay at the Pullman Reef. Well located for a short stroll to all the Watwrfront Esplanade and Cairns has to offer. Nice to be a little out of the hustle & bustle, yet so close. Very comfortable bed, generous room size, we had a lovely water view fro our balcony. Breakfast was simple, but very tasty. What made the experience the best was the Team at the Hotel (especially the Check In & Front of House) -we had a few personal health issues at the time and they couldn’t have been any more an accommodating and caring. Real care. Thank you for having the right people in the right seats Pullman Reef Casino :)

We liked this hotel 👍. Spacious, quiet rooms with thoughtful inclusions (I particularly liked the large light up make up mirror in the bathroom). Nice gym and pool area. Great location and we had a lovely view from our 6th floor balcony. All staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. Only downside was the rather gloomy lobby area and the bar had little atmosphere… but close to lots of eateries etc so not a problem.

Fantastic in all aspects. I live here in the north but only get to cairns every 3 or 4 years or so, even though it’s only a few hours away. I booked a suite with 2 queen beds through the Accor site. As a diamond member, I was fortunate to receive many benefits, starting with early check in! Our room was exception: huge and spotlessly clean. I was very lucky to receive a welcome amenity of a beautiful cheese platter and some cold drinks. The weather was perfect in June, and sitting on the balcony, sea breeze blowing and complimentary live music from the pub across road was just wonderful. The hotel offers a great à la carte menu for breakfast, and 3 dining spaces as well as room service. We dined at Tamarind restaurant which was fantastic. Staff are amazing and special shout out to Matt for assisting us with local tourist knowledge. Parking is plentiful and cost is $12 per day. The location is great, walk to the esplanade and lagoon and a whole range of great eateries. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this one is right up there in top 5! Will def be back.

Hotel location was very good, near the city center and also very near to the boardwalk beside the sea. There are also many restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Check in was completed fast and efficient. No room upgrade mentioned during check in so I got the junior suite which I booked. The junior suite was spacious and has balcony facing the city and also the sea which provide excellent view. The room while well maintained already showed its age. Then for some reason the shower area does not have any cover so it is not good for privacy. Breakfast in the hotel is served ala carte style and there are many choices but the problem is every guest could only choose 1 item from the menu. So while the taste of every items we tried during our stay was excellent, the portion was not big and not too fulfilling. The hotel could provide more sides such as pastry to accompany the breakfast. Service throughout the hotel was friendly especially the concierge team. Overall the hotel offer quite solid products but still have many shortcomings.

Everyone was incredibly pleasant, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay! Especially Matthew--so kind!! The room was amazing, I would love to come back and stay in that same room for many more days. My only minor critique was a lack of power plugs for charging near the beds (able to plug in elsewhere and charge electronics in a different spot). I understand wiring new plugs in the rooms would be a very large task, so this is not a goal unless the property is undergoing renovations in the future. Maybe look into swapping one of the patio chairs for a lounger? Having that option in the patio would be nice. Again, we REALLY enjoyed our stay at the Reef Casino Hotel and will book again if we come back to Cairns!

The location was great - walking distance to everything. The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. It was unfortunate that none of the other amenities worked: sauna not working, hot tub wasn’t working (cold), the gym equipment is old and the limited machines weren’t working. |Our restaurant experience was far from good - service was bad and slow. The food was okay but not what we expected after the high recommendation from front desk to eat there.|The concierge, Luka was fantastic- gave us lots of options and booked the tour for us. Front desk agent who checked us in was also amazing and great customer service. If the amenities worked it would be good value - since it was room only value wasn’t there.

The hotel itself is good. Lots to do and good location. However the room was dirty. Large stains on the carpet either side of the bed, the mattress topper had blood stains on. We did report this and the staff were good and replaced it. But the replaced bedding was stained. The quilt cover doesn’t fasten at the end so because it’s open your feet are often resting on the actual quilt, which was dirty. The bathroom wasn’t much better. |It was also noisy one night as we were on the front of the hotel. |We used the pool area a couple of times because it was lovely weather, the beds were comfy but it had absolutely no atmosphere. You can order food and drinks to the pool but it took about an hour to arrive. |Staff were friendly though and very helpful.

We had a great experience staying here! The rooms were clean and felt more modern than other hotels. Good amenities, rooms well maintained and kept clean, plus it’s in a great location. I’d stay here again. I highly recommend spending a little extra for the water views.
