We (2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 and 11) flew into Colombo and stayed at the Cinnamon Grand for two nights to relax and adjust to the time difference. Exceptional service and exceptional food at very reasonable prices. We will definitely stay again, and would stay longer to explore Colombo next time. This was our first time at a Cinnamon hotel and we want to try some of the other locations based on how positive the experience was.

My husband and I went to Colombo, Sri Lanka for the first time to attend his close friend's wedding. Since the wedding was held at Cinnamon Grand, we decided to stay at the hotel. Even though we chose an ocean view room, we could only see the pool, a stream and some water front a bit afar, unlike other hotels with beach front view. Despite the location which isn't beach front, our room was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the food and drinks at Cheers pub, Lagoon restaurant and truly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet. The hotel staff was always respectful, hospitable with cheerful greetings and happy to answer any curious questions I had during my stay. On the 2nd day of our stay, it was raining outside so we chose to enjoy facilities around the hotel. I went to the gym and was happy with various equipments though it was a bit inconvenient to walk under the rain because it's located in another building. We went to the shopping mall connected to the hotel and found that there's a mart, food court, some nail/ foot spas, tea/nut shops, fashion stores and cafes. On lobby floor, I enjoyed the manicure and pedicure services at the hotel nail spa. That night, there was Mrs. Sri Lanka World Talent Round in the atrium. My husband and I decided to watch it all and enjoyed the contestants performed their various traditional Sri Lankan dances. The wedding decorations, services and food provided by the hotel and affiliated businesses were all beautiful, tasty and enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly humble, courteous, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The buffet was absolutely lavish, offering a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. Every meal was a treat, and the overall hospitality was exceptional. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable stay. We look forward to visiting again!

Overall pleasant stay at Cinnamon that I'd totally recommend to anyone and stay again myself. A comfortable bed, nicely sized room, beautiful property, convenient location, such friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast are just some basic memorable facts about our stay for 3 nights. The bakery downstairs, Plates restaurant, and the mall next door just add on to the comfort of the stay at Cinnamon Grand. To top it all off, we upgraded our stay to the executive floor, and accessed the lounge to enjoy a variety of mouth-watering snacks (that changed everyday) and took 2 free laundry/day offering. It couldn't get any better!

Excellent Experience at Cinnamon Grand Colombo Yesterday night, I visited Cinnamon Grand Colombo to participate in an award ceremony. As always, it was a great experience at one of Colombo’s leading hotels. The hotel has a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, excellent facilities, and a very professional standard of hospitality. The overall environment was perfect for such a prestigious award ceremony. I also enjoyed dinner and cocktails at the hotel, and both were truly next level. The quality, taste, presentation, variety, and service were all excellent. The cocktail experience was equally impressive and made the evening even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, and the entire experience reflected the high standards of Cinnamon Grand. Overall, another wonderful and memorable experience. A great place for dining, cocktails, business events, celebrations, and enjoying a premium hotel atmosphere. Highly recommended!

One thing I really appreciated about this hotel was the way everything came together to make the stay enjoyable. The atmosphere was lovely, the rooms were well looked after, and the whole place felt comfortable without being too formal. The staff were welcoming and professional, and whenever we needed anything, they handled it with a smile. The food was enjoyable too, and we could see that attention had been given to the overall guest experience. We have stayed at different hotels before, but this one definitely left a good impression on us. It wasn't just about the facilities or the appearance of the hotel; it was the overall feeling of being well looked after throughout our stay. We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Grand Colombo and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, professional, and attentive. A special mention must go to Dumith from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond for us. He handled our booking seamlessly right from reception, personally carried our luggage up to our room, and consistently checked in to make sure our entire stay was comfortable. His attentiveness and genuine care truly stood out. Our room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. We especially loved the bathtub—it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the housekeeping team maintained impeccable standards throughout our visit. The dining was another major highlight. The breakfast spread offered an incredible variety of both local Sri Lankan specialties and international favorites, all fresh and beautifully prepared. Coupled with the hotel’s prime location and relaxing ambiance, it made for a truly memorable getaway. Thank you to Dumith and the entire team at Cinnamon Grand for taking such great care of us. We look forward to returning soon and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Colombo!

Had a lovely dinner at Cinnamon Grand and enjoyed their dinner buffet. The buffet spread was good, with a nice variety of options and the sushi was my personal favourite. It can get a bit crowded, especially during busy hours but the service was good and the experience was pleasant. Overall, I had a nice time and would rate the experience an 8.5/10. A good option for a satisfying buffet dinner.
