Loved the black vibe of the room, exactly my style. Great location right in the city center. Clean, cozy, and highly recommended!

We had a nice room but mediocre service. The remote control was broken but nobody fixed it. The cafeteria lady was not so nice, and the breakfast we had was too little.

The hotel contacted me asking to pay a deposit of 50% of the price even though when I booked through Booking.com there was no prepayment needed. The hotel sent me few messages and at first asked me to confirm my booking which I did. They then followed up and asked me to pay the deposit, and if I didn't pay, they threatened to cancel my booking. I told them that this was not needed based on what I agreed through Booking.com but they kept insisting that I need to pay as per their hotel policy. I don't feel like this is an honest/ transparent business practice; so I am cancelling my stay with them and don't want to deal with such bad behaviour.

This is a total $h!thole. Avoid at all costs. Heavily curated instagram photos are not the reality of a facility that is falling apart. The toilet seat was not secured. The room is much smaller than it appears. Get an AirBnB for less with much better quality.

Just nice decor, nothing else! Problem with wc of 201, 204. Others also no air ventilation! Highly not recommend! So bad!

Where can I eat near De Ma'at Hôtel?

You are in the heart of Da Lat, so dining options are close by. For a quick bite, Lien Hoa Bakery offers fresh pastries and breads. For a sit-down meal, Primavera Italian Restaurant serves Italian food, Le Chalet Dalat does French cuisine, and the Blue Parrot Mexican Grill offers Mexican dishes. For local Vietnamese flavors, Trang's Cookery Restaurant and Goc ha thanh are good choices, while Artist Alley Restaurant blends Asian and European tastes. End your evening at 100 Roof Bar, which has panoramic city views.

What is the area around De Ma'at Hôtel like?

The hotel sits in Da Lat's city center, close to the Central Market and the Da Lat Night Market, both within easy walking distance. You are a 13-minute walk from Quảng trường Lâm Viên square and a 10-minute walk from the whimsical Crazy House. The area is filled with cafés and restaurants, including Lien Hoa Bakery, Primavera Italian Restaurant, Le Chalet Dalat, Blue Parrot Mexican Grill, Trang's Cookery Restaurant, Artist Alley Restaurant, and 100 Roof Bar. Dalat Railway Station is about 0.65 km away, and the city's compact center is easy to explore on foot.

How do I get to De Ma'at Hôtel from the airport or main train station?

From Lien Khuong Airport (DLI), about 22 km away, take a taxi or pre-booked transfer for the direct 35-45 minute ride. A shuttle bus also runs to the central market area, from which the hotel is a short walk. If arriving by train, Dalat Railway Station is 0.65 km from the hotel, an easy walk or quick taxi ride. The hotel is on Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa in the city center, so any driver will know the location. For a smooth arrival, showing the hotel address on your phone works well.
