The Atlas Posthotel is absolutely lovely. The building itself is hundreds of years old making it so charming. However, the amenities are ultra up to date. My suite has a new bathroom with marble, soaking tub, waterfall shower, hair dryer, make up mirror, soft linens, etc. The bed comfy with fluffy pillows. We had a spacious seating area, loads of storage, fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. This is Germany, of course there isn't AC, get over it people! The staff is so helpful and attentive. They surprised me with wine and fruit for my birthday. I am so thankful that I spent my vacation here.

Very poor — the room is completely different from the photos. At night, it's impossible to sleep due to the creaking floors and the sound of bells from outside. Not recommended.

Good location. |Easy check in with friendly staff. |Nice looking hotel let down by housekeeping. |Left towels to be replaced with fresh ones but housekeeping took the towels and left us with the hand towels we hadn’t used. |No toiletries replaced therefore had to buy shampoo. |No soap in the rooms. |Floor was dusty. |No aircon or fan so rooms become uncomfortably hot on summer nights. |Limited parking at the hotel, enough for 4 vehicles. Which was disappointing., as this was the reason we picked this hotel. |Would pick another hotel if visiting this area again.

The hotel is in wonderful place. At the centre of Garmisch. The room was warm. However, it was a first time I faced a problem with warm water. One of the hotels boilers didn't work. At least that's how the receptionist answered when I asked why I can't get warm water in the shower. So hopefully it was a temporary issue.

I had a truly lovely experience at Atlas Post Hotel. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Garmisch, close to the station, shops, restaurants, and bus connections to Eibsee and the mountains. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with directions and local tips. My room was cozy, spotless, and peaceful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel feels warm and relaxing. After a full day of sightseeing, the sauna was a beautiful bonus and made my stay even more special. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Garmisch-Partenkirchen and would happily stay here again. Thank you for a memorable and comfortable stay!

Stayed here for a quick overnight on a road trip. Loved th central location and we were able to find parking right across the road. The room was small and very warm. I wouldn’t recommend for someone wanting to relax in their room/hotel however perfect for a stay when the priority is getting out and exploring

Atpost Hostel is located at Marienplatz, right in the heart of the city, just a 10-minute walk from Garmisch Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is a super-luxurious 4-star property, and the staff are absolutely amazing—friendly, helpful, polite, and always providing excellent service. We arrived early and were happy to have the option of early check-in, which made our stay even more comfortable. The service throughout was outstanding, and the staff truly made us feel welcome. Breakfast was included and was very delicious as well. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. You will definitely feel at home here
