We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is in a great location but also tucked away nicely. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and made us feel extra special as we celebrated our engagement here. The restaurant was delicious, the room was beautiful with an incredible view, and the spa was very lovely. We can’t wait to come back one day.

This was one of our all time favorite hotels. Lovely staff, great views, classy and beautiful. We stayed four nights and wish we had stayed longer. The breakfast buffet and fresh pressed juices were incredible. We enjoyed the cake in the afternoon. The dinners were included in our package (though we didn’t realize it at first :).Julien and the rest of the staff were personable and just overall welcoming to our family. Great experience overall. Thank you!!

This hotel we selected because in it description was "view to mountains" and as very interesting - a pool. We found a small hotel with two pools, SPA center, nearby tarin station, zugspitze bahn station and nearby center. When we entered the room was shocked - a panoramic windows, balcony. Shower and room - they are big, but not too big for dance place ;) At restaurant - every day different selection of dishes. Of course, they not have a nightingale's tongues and swan's milk :) And this was the greatest problem :D

Very charming hotel, close to the city center and to one of the stations good for excursions. In a very quiet area. Therestaurant is very good . In and outside pools, we did not used the SPA but it looks very good. In conclusion, a place where you like to stay.

Staudacherof is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in we felt at home. From the snacks left in the room, the view from the balcony, the pools, saunas, hot tub, delicious breakfast, and kind staff we couldn't have asked for more. We truly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I both really enjoyed the atmosphere at the Staudacherhof. It was so relaxing with the pool, hot tub and sauna. The view from my room was spectacular. We could watch the weather on the mountains. It is also walking distance from restaurants and shops. It is my favorite hotel from our trip.

I stayed here in July 2026. We had booked two rooms for our family, two adults and five very small kids (8 and under). Upon check in, we let the hotel know that we had 5 kids and they said we had only booked 4 kids. I am not sure how this happened but perhaps an error on our end or the booking site. We did ask for rooms near each other - they had us on two different floors - they were unable to accommodate that and I was surprised given it was a family reservation for two rooms that they had not planned for us to be next door to each other. The first night, we brought food back to the room for the kids and asked for plates and silverware. The bartender said we could not have them. We ordered a beer and they let us have plates. At check out, I walked back and forth past the staff and front desk carrying bags down flights of stairs several times, no one stopped to offer to help and no one was at the desk to check out. After waiting for 30 minutes, we needed to leave so I left the keys on the front desk. Then, upon arriving home, they tried to charge us for the extra child, claiming that they told us on check in (they did not) and that they incurred cost for adding an extra bed (they did not; nothing changed about our room once we let them know we had an extra child, in fact they made a big deal about not being able to put us in a new room beside each other). They even had the audacity to say they should have called the police about us leaving without checking out! (We were there for 30 minutes walking back and forth past and no staff offered to help or was present at the desk to check us out.) Overall, the service was poor, the hotel was just so so, and the management driving their service culture is unpleasant and operates with no regard for hospitality and customer service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and it is among the worst service experiences I have had staying in hundreds of hotels across Germany and Europe.

Staudacherhof is a great hotel to relax in and to explore Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The rooms are spacious and the view of the mountains is unbelievable. We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and the pool. The breakfast had an amazing variety of fresh foods. Every night, my husband and I went to the lounge to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
