Stayed here one night on a longer trip to HK, needing a cheaper room for the last night due to rates being higher for the holiday. As a Diamond, I found it easy to check in early (around 12:45pm) and when the room we pre-selected wasn’t ready, they just moved us to a similar room that was ready. Appreciated the ease of doing this. Property is located in the city proper but about a 10-minute walk from most train/bus stops; we saw many tourists coming near it saying things like, “Finally!”; the humidity makes it tough. Not much in the immediate vicinity in terms of restaurants, sites, etc but about 10 blocks away, it’s like you’re in the middle of Manhattan and are right in the middle of everything. Some people may find this frustrating but I appreciated it because it was quiet when you are at the hotel. Though upgraded as a Diamond, the room, like many in HK, was still small. The AC didn’t work particularly well, hovering around 23/24 even when setting it to the lowest setting so we had to call for help when we got back in, which took about 30 minutes. Someone ended up coming with a ladder and did something in the vent, then we were told it can’t cool below 21 and that it’s working. It did do some cooling but it wasn’t ideal. Bathroom surfaces were extremely slippery, so much so that they have signs warning you of this and a bath mat permanently installed right outside the shower. Even in the shower, I had to be careful not to lose footing. This was a somewhat challenging place to do a run in, as you’re not immediately near the water or any sort of trail (that I could find); I got lucky in that I had to go out at 4am due to needing to catch a flight and took a variety of streets two miles south to the water and then got on a waterfront trail from there; this would not have been particularly enjoyable during regular traffic times. I’d suggest running small laps at the park across the highway or taking transit to the waterfront or a bigger park, if you want to run. Breakfast is available and as a Diamond, it was included. By typical U.S. hotel standards, it offered an exceptional mix of American and Asian options. However, I’m spoiled by Hyatt, so it wasn’t at the level of what I typically enjoy as a Hyatt globalist in Europe or Asia. All in all, this is a decent place. If the price was fair, I’d stay again for short (1-2 day) stays and would be more likely to if I didn’t have Hyatt elite status.

The hotel wasn’t as easy to find as I’d expected, and we had to walk down a rather dirty and untidy street to get there. The hotel itself, though, was beautiful and grand. Regine handled our check-in, and everything went very smoothly. Unfortunately, she let us know that our room hadn’t been cleaned yet, so we left our bags with the concierge. The gentleman who stored our luggage was very polite, although we can’t quite remember his name. We spent some time out and about before returning that evening to collect our room keys. I think the gentleman who helped us was called Metro. He took the time to explain everything clearly, including how to connect to the Wi-Fi. The room was smaller than I’d expected, though. I’d hoped there would at least be enough space for our luggage. The gym didn’t have much variety in terms of equipment, but the view from the swimming pool was lovely. There’s no sauna, though. The front desk staff were all professional and attentive. Joe kindly offered us a late checkout, and Michael gave us a detailed overview of the city’s popular attractions, along with directions to Disneyland. Louie from the concierge team was also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. If we get the chance to visit Hong Kong again, I’d happily stay here again.

We have stayed in this great hotel at least nearly two weeks per month since 2025! We have already considered the hotel as a home away home because of excellent services and comfortable facilities! We just love this place! Emily and her team have treated us as a family! The restaurant is amazing if you want to taste local cuisine! The fitness center has been completely renovated with brand new facilities, don’t mention the roof top swimming pool offering a fantastic view of the Hong Kong island! If you are wondering where to stay in Hong Kong, this may be a good choice that you would not be disappointed at all!

Really satisfied with my stay here. Great location, clean and cozy rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel offers a quiet and comfortable environment in the heart of Mongkok. All facilities are well maintained, and the service is thoughtful. Would recommend to anyone visiting Hong Kong!

Solid Garden Inn with clean rooms and great value. Prices are usually quite competitive and you get a modern and clean room. The pool is a nice to have and the gym, well it’s a room that does exist. Breakfast turned out to be above average for the category too. Surprisingly even in the high floor the traffic noise was noticeable, and some noise bleed from the floors- even at the corner room. Service is professional and as typical for the area on the colder side. Overall I was happy here and would return.

One night stay. Welcomed as Lifetime Diamond with various amenities. Honestly, I was a little overwhelmed, so thank you to the team for the fruit, wine, lemon tea, snacks, and luggage tag! Corner room on the 20th floor. Peter Thomas Roth toiletries, which are much nicer than the typical Crabtree & Evelyn. Breakfast was ok. A little uninspired. The last time I was here was in 2019. The rooms are exactly the same, but now showing their age. Overall, it’s perfectly comfortable and if you want to be in Mongkok or near West Kowloon station it’s quite ideal.

Great stay overall. The location is excellent and very convenient. The room is on the smaller side, but that’s quite understandable for Hong Kong, so no complaints there. Front desk staff Micheal L was warm and professional, making the check-in experience very pleasant. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options and was definitely a highlight of the stay. Would happily stay again.

Good location to shopping for for fruits, jewelry and lots of restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast is also very good. Hotel is room are clean and have good soundproofing, a little on small size, but is definitely usable.
