Only stayed one night and I'm already trying to figure out how to come back. I arrived in Hvar sick and worn down after a week of travelling, and this place turned the whole trip around. The room was quiet, the bed was genuinely the best sleep I've had in weeks, and the location could not be better — you step off the catamaran and you're basically at the front door, right on St Stephen's Square. The staff are what make it. Leon looked after me at lunch and was excellent, attentive without hovering and happy to talk through the menu. Mateja took care of breakfast on the terrace and was just as good — warm, quick, and made a solo traveller feel genuinely looked after rather than like a table for one. Breakfast itself is worth the stay on its own. The truffled egg lives up to everything people say about it. Everything from check-in onwards was smooth and unfussy. Beautiful building, immaculate rooms, and service that actually feels personal rather than performed. If you're deciding between this and anywhere else in Hvar town, stay here. Thank you to the whole team.

My stay at Palace Elisabeth in Hvar was exceptional for several reasons. The hotel is set directly on the main square overlooking the Hvar harbor, offering gorgeous views while placing you just steps from everything, yet it still feels peaceful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel genuinely valued throughout my stay. The breakfast was generous and beautifully prepared, and my room, though intimate in size, was thoughtfully designed with luxurious touches and supreme comfort. The combination of its prime waterfront location, polished service, and calm, sophisticated atmosphere is what makes Palace Elisabeth so special. I also loved being there not only as a guest but as a photographer for a destination wedding of an American couple getting ready at the hotel. The elegant interiors and stunning terrace are a visual delight, providing a stylish backdrop for creative photography and perfectly capturing the atmosphere of a wedding day.

We are a well-traveled couple with a deep appreciation for high-end hotels, and Hotel Palace Elisabeth in Hvar has truly been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the very first moment, we were met with warmth and professionalism. The service is top-class – personal, attentive, and discreet. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the hotel radiates peace, luxury, and historical charm. The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to everything you need. We stayed for nearly a week and couldn’t have been more satisfied. This hotel truly lives up to – and surpasses – what one expects from a five-star experience. We will definitely return and recommend Palace Elisabeth in the strongest possible terms. A heartfelt thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Palace Elisabeth Hotel in Hvar was fabulous. The hotel lobby was beautiful. The complementary breakfast was incredible. We ordered from a full breakfast menu and enjoyed it all. Our room was small but nice. There are larger rooms available. The staff was very helpful. The location is perfect and overlooks the harbor. We would highly recommend the Palace Elisabeth and hope to visit again!

This is a truly lovely hotel with great staff. It is not possible to drive up to the hotel but you are met by a small golf cart to collect your luggage. The hotel faces the harbour and has great sea views. The reception staff were very helpful. We arrived before 3pm but were kindly helped to access our room an hour early. There is a lift and stairs. Our room was very comfortable and has an evening turn down service.

Probably the best hotel in Hvar – the location is unbeatable, right in the very center of town. I only wish the view from my room had been a bit better, but overall my stay was truly enjoyable and memorable.
