Property was exceptionally clean n much better than the pics also . Super conveniently located in the most beautiful alley in old town .Nina and Martha were so helpful and kind! Helped us with our bags and met us at the ferry. Nina had lots of good recommendations. It was super comfortable and the Dyson hairdryer was much appreciated! The home made breakfast was sooo good.loved it❤️❤️Excellent service and so kind!! We looked forward to it daily. They definitely covered all the small details you would want. We also purchased some oils n balsamic vinegar that was delicious! This property is the best in hvar because of the location, all the amenities and these two beautiful girls Nina nd Martha ❤️

FIVE STAR experience!!! From the front desk greeting of NINA!!! To management, Stephanie 💗. They truly are angels on earth! They were a highlight of Hvar for sure. This hotel/winery has a total or 3 rooms. Very quaint and beautiful! Beautiful as in, feels like a 5 Star hotel! From the bed linens to the shower gels… 5 star! The bathrooms are beautiful! The entire hotel is beautiful! I don’t even want to share this review because I want it to remain quaint and AFFORDABLE! We are coming back and would not stay anywhere else!

Couldn’t have had a better experience! I was so sad to leave, and wish I had spent more than 4 nights- first, the location is fantastic and an easy walk to and from the ferries (even with a big bag). Next, the manager Stefani was absolutely delightful- so welcoming, kind, and accommodating. She always checked in on me, was available for any questions, and just made me feel very safe in general as a female solo traveler. The apartment was impeccably clean and styled - there was an espresso machine, beach towels provided, and even a Dyson hairdryer. 10/10 would stay here again.

Our stay at this property was truly unreal. The staff welcomed us immediately upon arrival and helped us with our luggage right from the start. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for — beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful details. A huge advantage is the location, as it is right in the center and everything is very close by. Beautiful, clean, tidy, and the staff was flawless. Stefani organized tours for us, reserved the best restaurants, and gave us amazing recommendations on how to spend our days and experience the island in the best possible way. We will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Porta Maestra. Stefanie greeted us at the port and escorted us through the brief walk to the Villa. Our 2 bedroom apartment was gorgeous. Beds were very comfortable. Updated beautifully with a nice mixture of stone walls, dark wood and metal finishes. Kitchenette is amazing and fresh fruit made for great afternoon snack. Showers were roomy and water pressure was fantastic. Hotel also provided fresh beach towels everyday. Location is perfect with plenty of restaurant options just steps from the Villa. Waterfront is super close to hop on a water taxi for a day at one of the many beaches. Breakfast was also included and was served next door at Villa Nora. Wide arrangement of breads, fruit, yogurt and pastries. Also accommodated fresh scrambled eggs order and coffee was delish! Hvar is a very special place. We will be back! Definitely recommend this hotel over other larger resorts so you experience the delights at and near this amazing accommodation.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here!! The apartment was perfectly equipped and a great size. Very charming and loved the original stone walls and history. The owner was so kind showing us things. The beautiful girl yo from gave us the most amazing dinner recommendations. And the location is truly the most perfect! Right by the port and downtown but not loud at night.

My husband and I visited Villa Porta Maestra for wine tasting this afternoon. The service was exceptional - super knowledgeable about the local vineyards and wines from the island. We enjoyed a selection of red, white and rose but also was treated to cheese, olives and an array of olive oils, honey, jams too! To top it off the historical setting is stunning and the time flew by! Would recommend this hidden gem!
