The service was super pleasant. Although our room was not ready when we arrived, because we were early (before the check-in time), it was quickly managed to clean the room. The staff managed to let us in the two booked rooms not even 15 minutes after our arrival. The staff was very kind and the rooms were clean and nice. We could also keep our luggage after checking out until our train had arrived. But if you visit by car you have to pay extra, cause there is no free parking. Just the regular one from the central railway station. The rooms were very quiet although the traffic (cars, trains...) are next to the hotel. They have two windows (right behind one is the next) when the room is fronting the street.

Great hotel, great customer service, amazing breakfast and lovely bar. The rooms are Morden, well cleaned and comfortable. The hotel is well located in front of the train and bus station which makes life very easy. I would happily stay here again. The all the teams are brilliant, I got in Innsbruck at 6am, they let me store my luggage without any hassle. I am coming back at the beginning of march this year and I will be able to see if the experience that I had is constantly through out the year.

Very good location close to train station and downtown. Rooms are clean but in not so good condition. We had really cold room. The heating was off. Lights in room was crazy. At night automatically go on. So you sleep and then at 2 o clock night you have a day. Breakfast was good, freshly with a lot of choices. Just coffee was instant and taste terrible. If you want to stay close to town and Train station than is good. But it isn't at all 5 🌟 hotel standard.

Not great. Dated rooms, sad bathroom and shower which leaks water everywhere, poor lighting, aged carpet, loud location at train and bus station & intersection. The hair dryer was broken, pillows were uncomfortable, and room was tiny, very hot, rather unbearable as the temperature control did not work. (We even had an upgraded room!) That being said, the gentleman at reception was very polite and helpful, and the barman was great. But the other people had no idea what was going on or where anything was. They couldn't order us a cab, it was much better to go to the train station and just get one there. 1,000 Euros for three nights, I expect much more from a hotel. B

My husband and I loved staying here. We purchased their casino and dinner night bundle and had a great time! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. As some others here mentioned, the breakfast buffet was exquisite. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This was our first time to Innsbruck - a very cute city and beautiful in the snow!

Fantastic boutique hotel. Lovely big rooms. Nice location. Parking is a bit difficult..but there is an underground car park at the station..17 euros per day. This hotel is filled with pictures on all floors. Definitely 5 star.

Located near to the main train station and travel hub, very convenient. Lovely large sized rooms. The staff are really helpful and charming. The only minor criticisms I have are the following. That the air conditioning seems to want to warm us when we want to just stay cool, though it is unusually warm for this time of year. The toilet had an unpleasant smell when I arrived though the purchase and use of some air freshening spray solved that, I also suspect the air extraction in the bathroom might not be perfect. Though I love the marble bathroom the fittings don't cover some holes in the tiles going into the walls, also the refinish on the bath surface is coming off on the side. But having said that I found a great deal on the room and these have had no effect on the enjoyment on my stay.

We rented a room for 3 people for a stay of 4 nights (July - August 2019). When we arrived, the room was occupied. We were offered a smaller room telling us that an extra bed would be added. We declined as the room was small, provided for 2 people. The hotel being full, we were housed in a family suite with traditional decor on the 5th floor. As we preferred a modern style, we asked to change. The room allocated was this time suitable for 3 people but made for 2. So we asked for an extra bed that was made and placed in the middle of the room, between the desk and the beds ... We managed to improve the room. In addition, we found that the household was not completely done. Only the towels were changed and the quilts folded. Vacuum cleaner was not passed, toilet paper not refilled, shower gels and other non-refilled, the desk uncleaned, the interior of the wash basin uncleaned. And there is a kettle, but just 1 stick of coffee while the room is for 2 people (and a child for our case). We also encountered technical problems: - leaking shower (shower screen seal is ineffective) - the toilet which remains closed from the inside (I made a big fright) - the lights that come back on their own ... Despite this, we must still say that the reception was friendly and the breakfasts are really good. A lot of choices.

Frequently asked questions about Innsbruck

When is the best time to visit Innsbruck?

The best times to visit are May, June, and September, when temperatures are mild and rain is less frequent than in the summer peak. July and August are the warmest months but also bring more rain, with about 20 rainy days each. Winter months are cold and snowy, ideal for skiing, but the wettest stretch is May, with 21 rain days. For pleasant sightseeing, aim for late spring or early autumn.

Which area should I stay in in Innsbruck?

Stay in the Old Town (Altstadt) for the Golden Roof, Hofburg, and St. Anna Column at your doorstep; it suits first-timers and sightseers. The City Center around Maria-Theresien-Straße offers easy access to shops, the Hofgarten, and the Nordkettenbahnen, ideal for those wanting convenience. For a quieter, local feel, the district around the University (near Hofgarten) is pleasant and walkable. Hotels like Nala Individuellhotel, Hotel Innsbruck, and Adlers Hotel are centrally located in these areas.

What are the must-see attractions in Innsbruck?

Start at the Golden Roof, the city's emblem with its glittering facade. Ride the Nordkettenbahnen up to Hafelekarspitze for sweeping alpine views. Visit the Hofburg, the Habsburg palace, and the Bergisel Ski Jump for its modern architecture. Stroll the Altstadt's lanes and the Hofgarten for a break. The Alpenzoo, high above the city, is a unique stop.

What day trips can I take from Innsbruck?

Full-day tours from Innsbruck go to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, a glittering museum and park; to the medieval town of Hall in Tirol with its old town and salt mine; and to the alpine village of Seefeld, known for its mountain scenery. These are the main bookable day trips, each offering a different taste of the Tyrol region.

How many days do I need in Innsbruck?

Plan 2 to 3 days for Innsbruck. In two days, you can see the Golden Roof, Altstadt, Hofburg, and St. Anna Column, plus ride the Nordkettenbahn to Hafelekarspitze. Add a third day for the Alpenzoo, Bergisel Ski Jump, and Hofgarten. If you take a day trip, add an extra day.
