(Translated by Google) Thank you for your wonderful comment! Lately, I've been troubled by persistent negative comments from the same group using various accounts. I suppose they must have been very dissatisfied with our response... My children (middle school 2nd year, elementary school 6th year, elementary school 3rd year, elementary school 1st year) have enjoyed other glamping facilities and playgrounds, and they've even incorporated play equipment and copied the interior design of popular glamping facilities, so I think it's a fun facility for elementary school children. We operate with the image of families enjoying time away from smartphones and games. Let's raise children with strong life skills! Thank you!

(Translated by Google) My name is Murakami, and I am the facility manager. Thank you for staying with us and for submitting your review. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations. Our facility is not a completely indoor accommodation like a hotel. Instead, we operate as a "glamping facility" that allows guests to enjoy the charm of camping in nature while minimizing the burden of tent pitching and meal preparation. Therefore, the facility offers a close connection with nature, including an environment surrounded by trees, a zip line gliding through dappled sunlight, a 20-meter-tall log swing, and the sounds of animals such as goats and chickens. Regarding the sound of nuts falling onto the tents, most of the trees on the property are deciduous, so nuts will fall from now until autumn. Some families have commented that it was fun, like something out of Totoro, but we understand that some people find it unpleasant. We feel that we need to provide clearer information about the seasonal natural environment in advance. Also, regarding meals, we use a style where we provide ingredients in a cooler box so that guests can enjoy BBQ at their own pace. Since this is different from a full-service meal prepared by staff, we will improve our communication to make this clearer before booking. On the other hand, we are very sorry that some guests felt "deceived by the positive reviews." We do not ask guests to leave positive reviews or specify what kind of reviews they should leave; we have received honest feedback from all our guests who have stayed with us. Regarding the photos, we ask our staff, and also a fellow traveler who shared a celebratory meal with my wife when she gave birth 10 years ago. He shares a love of mountain climbing and takes wonderful photos, so we ask him to take pictures about once a year whenever there are major changes to the facilities or displays. To ensure that guests do not feel that there is a discrepancy between the actual facilities and their expectations, we will continue to strive to post photos and information that convey the current state of the facilities as accurately as possible. We have four children (a 2nd year middle schooler, a 6th grader, a 3rd grader, and a 1st grader; the 1st grader was 5 years younger at the time of opening), and we have incorporated elements that they enjoyed at other glamping facilities, as well as interior designs inspired by popular glamping establishments. To prevent smartphone and game addiction, and to allow guests to run around, laugh, and enjoy family time while barbecuing in nature, we've opted for a traditional Japanese hearth-style BBQ grill instead of a gas stove stand-type grill. We hope you'll enjoy a unique and memorable time with your friends, family, or partner. Thank you for your valuable feedback. Receiving low ratings motivates us, as it shows we still have room to improve!

Response from the property

(Translated by Google) Dear Mr./Ms. Suzuki and KOKO, This is Murakami, the person in charge who assisted you today. We are deeply sorry that your much-anticipated three-generation trip was ruined by this incident. As we discussed, we are reflecting deeply on the fact that these are all issues that can be improved on the facility's end. We were so touched by your kind words and warm message at checkout that we almost cried. We will strive to make our facility even more enjoyable for our guests. Please come again. My family and I will welcome you back. We will take the following measures as soon as possible: Regarding point 1: The "House of Sunshine" is too old. We apologize. The facility is 56 years old. We clean it regularly, but we will review it again. Regarding point 2: The Tarzan rope is dangerous. As you pointed out, we understand that it may be a concern for those with small children. Although there have been no collisions in the past five years, we cannot say for sure that there won't be any in the future. Therefore, we will extend the traffic cones and no-entry barriers a little further, and reconsider the height and route of the ski slope with the contractor. Disappointment Point ③ Regarding the circulation of the bath water Our hot spring water is free-flowing from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, so we do not use a circulation system, but fresh hot spring water is constantly supplied. In addition, chlorine is added to the water in a tank in accordance with the Hotel Business Act, and water quality checks are conducted by a water quality testing company under contract, ensuring proper management through regular inspections. We will also increase the number of bath mats from one to two. Disappointment Point ④ Cockroaches in the rooms Even though our facility is located in the middle of a forest, we believe this is unacceptable. Currently, we wipe down all buildings with insecticide and mint-based deodorizers during the first week of March and the first week of July. This time, we re-checked the gaps in the tents and tried using a long-lasting spray. We haven't seen many cockroaches or mosquitoes so far, but I'll ask a professional pest control expert I know about how to deal with them. Disappointing Point 5: The Biomass Toilet Smells Bad We apologize. This has been pointed out to us before, but we haven't been able to address it. We just replaced the sawdust at the end of June, and the inside is odorless, but the smell comes out of the chimney. We've placed it away from the tent, but it's close to the trampoline, so we'll move the trampoline slightly. The biomass toilet was installed so that toilets can be used even in the event of a Nankai Trough earthquake or other disaster. We also have a wood-fired bath and wood-burning stove, and we always register as a facility to receive guests in the event of an earthquake. Regarding reviews, we offer a gift to those who declare they will write one, but out of 10,000 visitors a year, only about 100 people write reviews. This time, the review was written by a couple, so we understand they had a truly unpleasant experience. We were shocked by the results, which were far from our goal of contributing to creating lasting memories with family and friends. However, we know we have no choice but to improve, so we will do our best. In the midst of all this, we are grateful for the time you took to speak with us and for your kind words. We hope you have a wonderful trip and a great summer vacation.
