First and foremost, we must commend the entire housekeeping staff who took care of us during our stay. They were incredible & no request was too difficult for them. We had a beautiful room on the 4th floor with a view of the Messina palace gardens as well as the sea. It was decorated in delicate pinks & greens in a Bonaparte homage. The location of the hotel is exceptional as well and the atmosphere feels truly elevated. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast - a little too much, to be honest. The variety of food ond drink was fantastic & the signature Negresco french toast quickly became our favourite. In La Rotunda - we had the wonderful Christopher and Tomaz with attentive service and hospitality, every day at breakfast and also during our memorable Sunday long lunch where we particularly relished the foie gras and duck breast. At the Versailles bar every evening - we appreciated the kind and courteous service of Vlad, Evangelina and Fernando. Olivier, the concierge was really helpful with making reservations and answering our questions with calm & patience. At last but not least, Carolina at the front desk, who checked us in and brought us up to our room - her warm welcome set the tone for our whole stay. Highly recommend.

An exceptional experience at Le Negresco. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the impeccable attention to detail and the genuinely gracious service. Every aspect of the experience was thoughtfully curated, reflecting the elegance, heritage, and timeless character of this iconic hotel. During our stay, we had the pleasure of dining at both restaurants that were open at the time of our visit, each offering its own distinctive atmosphere and experience. We also had the pleasure of visiting the boutique, which added yet another memorable touch to our stay. Le Negresco is more than a hotel — it is an experience steeped in history, elegance, and savoir-faire. A truly memorable stay. I look forward to returning.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and a few things were disappointing. To preface, the hotel itself is beautiful, in a great central location and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also, the bar restaurant food was excellent. That said, we were disappointed with the room for the price. It was quite small and the view from the window felt like “prison bars.” We also found the air conditioning lacking—it didn’t cool enough and only reached a limited temperature. The bathroom was by far the most unsatisfactory part. The shower was elevated and there were no shower doors, so the layout is basically an exposed raised structure that you have to step up into and then back down. Water easily gets all over the floor. Since I was pregnant, I genuinely worried about my safety every time I showered. Finally, there were no outlets in the bathroom and the toilet was problematic throughout our entire stay. I want to point out an outstanding positive which was housekeeping. They were extraordinary and probably the best part of our stay here. Overall, it wasn’t the worst experience but we likely would not return due to these conditions.

We absolutely loved staying here. Everything was wonderful. The building and rooms are beautiful. The location is great. Every person was helpful, cheerful and welcoming. The breakfasts in La Rotonde were absolutely outstanding. We were in Nice for a 40th wedding anniversary trip and this hotel met the expectations that accompany such an occasion. We would love to stay here again. I wish we could give more than five stars.

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here and immensely enjoyed our stay. Le Negresco is a masterclass in hospitality. Their rooms are well-appointed and the décor is immaculate. I was thrilled to see all the art pieces scattered throughout the hotel. It was like being in a museum. I would happily return here if we fins ourselves back in Nice. It is well worth the price!

Unbelievably beautiful Hotel in Nice, French Riviera… Famous, Historic, Great Location, Great Restaurant, Great Bar, Amazing Decor but Service has some issues at the front Desk and bar… the tall hostess is cold, disinterested, not gracious and has a poor attitude. There’s a young, dark hair Hostess who is a Super Star. She gave us a table we liked and also refreshed our champagne as she walked by. She’s an Awesome person and nice, friendly, kind and welcoming. The front desk woman who checked us in was incredible, the young lady who made the reservation the night before was amazing and the gentleman who checked us out was a STAR TOO. But, the front desk woman who I asked for a slightly late checkout because I didn’t feel well was HORRIFICALLY RUDE and her Boss, the front Desk Manager was even more rude. He actually said “ you need to be out by 1 pm after I had asked for a 1 pm checkout. Tom the Bellman was outstanding and our FAVORITE PERSON AMONG MANY great staff members. So many Great employees but 2 terrible at the front desk and 1 tall hostess in the Bar… they have a false sense of who they are, they aren’t more important than the guest in any way.. that’s the Golden Rule of Hospitality, be welcoming and Gracious to guests, these 3 horrible staff members wouldn’t last in Monaco or Paris, they have failed and management doesn’t know they have some bad issues with these 3.

We had an exceptional experience at this hotel, especially thanks to Christina from housekeeping. My trousers were too long and needed shortening, and she kindly arranged it for me. The very next day, I found them perfectly altered and ready in my wardrobe. We also had an issue paying a taxi in cash, as we rarely carry cash anymore. The hotel staff immediately helped us by arranging the payment and charging it to our room. This level of thoughtful, caring service is truly exceptional. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you, Christina, and the whole hotel team!

The hotel is gorgeous. Our suite was gorgeous with stunning views and windows trimmed in gold that open. The breakfast area outside oversees the sea. They have fresh juices (detox juice my favorite) and will make you one if the one you want isn’t available. Same with eggs, they will customize your meal. They have gluten free option for those with celiac. They have it all: bars, a boutique with fabulous items, beach club with showers and changing rooms. They are missing nothing. The service is amazing. I’ve been lots of places across Europe and this ties for first place for me.
