We stayed  at this hotel many times due to unique combination of location and hospitality. The old style hotel has a classic room decoration and we like it. Besides there are very tasty breakfasts from 7 till 11.30 and it’s also quite unique as obviously breakfasts stop at 10.30 in hotels. So you can go at the beach area to walk or to run and get the breakfast after. We advise this hotel for family vacations.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were immediately impressed by the stunning building, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience took a turn when we were shown to our room. The room we were given was definitely not the room we had booked. It was extremely small and felt more like a dungeon than the room we had paid for. When I went straight back to reception to raise this, the front desk staff member actually said, “Yes, we know it’s not the room you booked,” and explained that our actual room wouldn’t be ready until 3:30 pm the following day. We were extremely upset that we had not been informed of this before arrival and that we were simply given a completely different room. Thankfully, the room we had originally booked and eventually stayed in was lovely. It was cleaned to a very high standard every day. However, there were hardly any working plug sockets, which was inconvenient. There were also issues when checking out. A €200 deposit had been taken, which we completely understood. However, when checking our final bill, breakfast had been added even though we had already paid for it. I had to point this out and ask for it to be removed. The staff acknowledged that it was their mistake, but unfortunately there was no apology regarding the incorrect room or any offer of compensation for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, we checked out three days ago and our €200 deposit still hasn’t been returned to our account. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful, the staff were friendly, and our correct room was lovely and very clean. However, the way the initial room situation was handled, the billing error, and the delay in returning our deposit really took away from what should have been a much more enjoyable stay.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Hotel West End, Nice during my vacation in France. It's located right in the center of the Promenade de Anglis with great access to the beach, shopping areas, casual dining areas, as well as the higher end restaurants, and port area tourist activities. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left, I felt like a valued customer at this hotel. The staff was absolutely fantastic and provided exceptional service and information. The room was lovely and very comfortable and quiet. The dining room/bar provided high-quality food and drinks with class, elegance and courtesy. I loved my stay at this hotel and I would certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel West End, it was perfect. The room was lovely with a view over the sea, the bed was so comfortable and furnishing were lovely. All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. It wasn't cheap but you definitely get what you pay for! We will definitely return

This was my third time staying at this hotel, and this visit was especially meaningful as I travelled with my mum to celebrate her 72nd birthday. Before arriving, I had asked whether it might be possible to have a room with a balcony. Although the hotel was unable to accommodate that request, they very kindly upgraded us to a Deluxe room with a beautiful panoramic view, which made our stay feel extra special. The room itself was noticeably more modern than the ones I had stayed in previously, and the upgraded TV experience was a great addition, with Chromecast support and apps such as YouTube and Netflix available directly on the television. What really stood out, however, was the thoughtful touch from the hotel staff, who left a handwritten note and a small gift for my mum’s birthday. It was a lovely gesture and genuinely appreciated. The location continues to be one of the hotel’s biggest strengths, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and enjoying the surrounding area. Whilst the overall experience was excellent, there were just a couple of minor negatives. The pillows were slightly uncomfortable for our liking, and the extractor fan in the bathroom appeared to run constantly. I did try to look for a switch to turn it off but couldn’t find one.

Wonderful hotel! GORGEOUS view! It is THE hotel to stay in…right in the middle of the action, beach across the street, convenient parking, lovely breakfast, smells great. Only star lost is the restaurant. Not as friendly and accommodating as they should. But beautiful comfortable lobby. Wonderful restaurants and pharmacies (if you know you know) nearby and all walkable. Nice makes a great headquarters to explore the south of France.

Hotel was lovely, with decently sized rooms. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Doorman and valet was the most helpful person ever! Beach club access to Blue Beach club was a great perk. Highly recommend.
