Regarding your room, we would like to clarify that the room categories attributed to our guests are those that have been reserved. As is common with historic properties, room sizes and layouts can vary within the same category, and the photographs displayed on our website and booking platforms are representative of the different room categories rather than necessarily showing the exact room assigned. We are nevertheless sorry to hear that you felt the room did not provide the level of comfort and attention to detail you expected from a four-star hotel. We take your comments regarding the carpets and the general updating of the rooms into consideration, as we are continually working to maintain and improve our property while preserving its historic character. We are pleased that, despite these reservations, you enjoyed our location and the friendliness of our teams.
