Great location and views, but housekeeping needs improvement Overall, we had a pleasant stay, mostly thanks to the unbeatable location and welcoming front desk staff. Pros: Location: Absolutely top-tier! The beach is right across the street, and the city center and main attractions are just a short walk away. Room: Beautiful, spacious room with a breathtaking view from the window. Front Desk: Excellent customer service at reception — check-in and communication were smooth and friendly. Cons: Housekeeping: Unfortunately, the room cleaning service was disappointing. Staff came in twice, but failed to replace our used cups and towels. The cleaning quality was poor — there was a lot of dark hair left on the floor from someone else. Air Conditioning: Housekeeping kept changing our AC settings on their own, which was quite inconvenient. Minibar: Oddly enough, they prioritized fully restocking the minibar (which we didn't even use) over actually cleaning the room properly. It’s a great hotel with amazing potential, but management definitely needs to address the standards of the cleaning service.

We have been to Nice several times before, but this stay was truly special for us and one we will remember for a long time. The hotel has a wonderful location right on the Promenade des Anglais, and the sea view from our room was simply breathtaking. Waking up every morning with the Mediterranean right in front of us was amazing, and having breakfast with such a beautiful view was the perfect way to start each day. The breakfast itself was excellent, with a great variety of choices to suit every taste. We also greatly appreciated the entire hotel staff. From the reception to the restaurant, everyone was kind, helpful, professional, and always welcoming us with a smile. We felt genuinely comfortable and well looked after throughout our entire stay. What we will remember most, however, is the atmosphere and the feeling we had while staying with you. We came to relax, and for a few days we truly managed to slow down. We enjoyed Nice, the sea, our morning coffee, breakfast, long walks, and simply having time for ourselves. We left with only one thought: it was far too short. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and for everything you did to make us feel so welcome. We will miss Nice very much, and we hope to return soon, not only to Nice, but also to your hotel. We found this hotel while searching for a two-night stay in Nice, and chose Mercure because of its incredible location and a not too expensive overall price. |The room was always very clean and we found it almost spotless upon our arrival. The view was spectacular, and the size was more than sufficient.|The breakfast (only meal available in the hotel) was decent but could be improved. For example, the forced menù selection for the in-room service was not appreciated (given the upcharge), and the food quality was less than expected.|Despite this, our stay at the Mercure was pleasurable and the staff was very professional and kind.

The hotel is in great location. Good size rooms, seems recently renovated, the daily cleaning was exceptional. Excellent staff in reception area. Breakfast was decent. Beach is 2 minutes away and there is a casino located in the building. The only thing missing was small touches; like no gesture on my partner’s birthday, no recognition of the All loyalty card etc. Nevertheless very good hotel

A recently renovated property with spacious, well appointed rooms. Lovely location right on the promenade with easy access to the beach. Also, really easy to get to from the airport via the tram. Quite a corporate style hotel, with no extra facilities like pool or lounge area. So if you are looking for more resort style hotel, this probably isn't for you. But, if you want a nice sized room, a lovely view, good linen and comfortable bed - would recommend.

Hotel well located near pebbly beach over the road and the energetic food and shopping streets. We had to move room initially as the noise from elevator annoying. We took the inner 'garden view room' around a long corridor which was superb quiet. Hotel staff were all welcoming. We came to NICE after an excellent stay down the coast at Beaulieu-Sur - Mer.There is a good town beach here and similar set-up to the main Nice beach to hire day beads at the various beach clubs or pay nothing and sit on public stretch of pebbly beach. Bus number 15 takes you to that location to and from NICE also a visit to adjacent Saint Jean Cap Ferrat where the peninsula coastal walk a must.|Alternatively we took the Zou train to Juan - les-Pins for a sandy beach and better open swimming spot. Zou train also goes to Beaulieu and train station about 25 minutes walk from hotel. NICE is a nice friendly town and think a two day visit enough. Don't forget to visit the outstanding Antibes and the billionaires concrete Alcatraz which is worth the day trip on the Zou train.

A great location on the sea front with easy access on foot to trams, buses etc.|Old Nice across the road.|The staff were all very friendly with especial mention to lovely Karina and the recommendations from Dorothea.|Room was clean and well equipped with a balcony and sea and garden view. It was a good size.|The breakfast room was fine but the breakfast itself lacked choice and was not well stocked with various items not replenished.|Overall a good value stay.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais and I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The team on reception were exceptional – always smiling, friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they really made our family feel valued throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, with an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality food. The breakfast staff were so attentive and welcoming, making each morning a lovely start to the day. A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team, who completely won our hearts. We were travelling with our four-year-old son, and every day they carefully arranged his favourite toy in a different funny position around the room, making it look as though it had come to life while we were out exploring Nice. Watching our son discover what his toy had been "up to" each afternoon became one of the highlights of our holiday and created such magical family memories. It's those thoughtful little touches that you simply can't put a price on. Finally, on our departure day, our son fell asleep just before checkout. Rather than rushing us, the hotel very kindly allowed us to keep the room a little longer so he could finish his nap. As parents, this small act of kindness made a huge difference and perfectly sums up the level of care and understanding shown by the staff throughout our stay. The location couldn't be better, right on the Promenade des Anglais and within easy walking distance of the Old Town, beach and countless restaurants. Thank you to everyone at the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais for making our family holiday so special. We will leave with wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Nice.
