location was excellent, we could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the train station. We stayed in a Superior Garden Room, which was clean and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and a bottle of wine was waiting in our room for my friend’s birthday, was a very thoughtful gesture. unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the garden. The only downside was that the beds weren’t very comfortable. I would consider staying here again because of the location, but overall I don’t think it felt like a 4-star hotel in terms of value for money, and I might try another property in the same area next time.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay. We wanted somewhere clean and in a good location and that is what we got. Our twin room was small but had everything we needed. Breakfast was adequate, although staff were slow to the clear up dirty plates and cups on neighbouring tables. Supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, the train station and beach are all within walking distance. Hotel Villa Victoria was a good base to visit all of the tourist hot spots. I could easily stay here again.

Good , clean hotel with large, well appointed rooms. Really nice breakfast that can be taken in their immaculate garden. |5 min walk to the English promenade. Many dining options around. They do have a connection with a good beach club that the hotel can book for you. |Overall solid option for your stay in beautiful Nice.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and assisted with a partial check-in. Once the female concierge collected our passports, the entire energy of our conversations and level of hospitality shifted. Traveling from the US on our honeymoon, we were hopeful for (not expecting) a warm welcome into a new city, but rather received a dismissive and passive demeanor. While in the lobby, we “waited for our room to be ready”, the hotel continued with their regularities, one of which included routine sewage removal outside of the main entrance. The sound and smell drafting into the lobby was horrific. At 14:05, we finished our check-in. My husband loaded the dolly with luggage, after no assistance was offered, and rode up to our room. I waited for the elevator to return (out of sight of the female concierge). While waiting, snickering and cackling began, until I stepped into their view where conversations quickly diverted awkwardly. Low and behold, the snickering correlated with our room assignment. We had been awarded a room on the first floor directly above the sewage access port, equipped with flies and open windows. For the price of our suite, I was severely disappointed by the hospitality and overall care for clients. The following morning, she transformed and decided to be kind and helpful, with management staff present. If looking to book a hotel in this region, I would recommend removing this option from your list. Additional reviews will be left on other websites.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the front desk team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable from start to finish. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — clean, elegant, and incredibly well maintained. My room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with comfortable bedding, high-quality amenities. Every detail, from the lighting to the decor, created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere that made it feel like a true getaway. The location was also perfect — convenient to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping while still feeling peaceful and calm. Breakfast in the back garden was romantic and delicious. The hotel also has limited parking.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I truly believe it had it all. The employees were all so nice & helpful from the moment I booked. The location is a 5 min walk to the beach. They breakfast was great. I loved that they had a connection to a beach club so I was able to enjoy a few days on the beach. Everything was just wonderful, no complaints at all!

First of all a friendly staff where they been very useful even we did not speak French 100 % well. The breakfast was with a variety of the options, maybe missing some things but was appropriate. The one of the room the blackout curtain was not designed as such keeping you awake... The location its amazing 15 min to the centre and 15 min to the train station.
