A sui generis hotel which needs a quality audit and a bit more love from its owners as some aspects are worn out (torn towels, peeling bath tub, doors not closing properly, dried plants on top of the master suite).

This hotel is a true sanctuary for nature lovers. The grounds are exceptionally green with abundant grass, trees, and shrubs creating a peaceful atmosphere. The low-rise buildings blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, making you feel connected to the environment rather than isolated from it. The rooms are impressively spacious and feature some wonderful amenities. The standout feature was definitely the hot tub positioned in the middle of the room - perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The in-room fireplace added a cozy touch that I particularly appreciated during the evenings. There is a coffee machine , separated shower and toilet which unfortunately was not properly aired as the vent did not work The décor strikes a good balance between rustic charm and minimalist design. The simplistic, uncluttered approach creates a calming environment that complements the natural setting outside. There is an enormous library. With hundreds of books and multiple comfortable reading areas, it's a bibliophile's dream. The dining area continues the natural theme with beautiful wood elements and recycled fabric decorations that maintain the eco-friendly aesthetic. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing - a limited selection of cheese and pastries, with scrambled eggs and pre-fried eggs that were unfortunately served cold. This is definitely an area where improvements could be made. Dinner, however, was excellent The restaurant offers local cuisine with creative modern twists. Dinner during was delightful, showcasing fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation. This hotel excels at creating a tranquil retreat that celebrates its natural surroundings. The spacious rooms with luxury touches like hot tubs and fireplaces, combined with the impressive library and excellent dinner offerings, make for a memorable stay. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a peaceful nature escape with comfortable accommodations and a respect for local culinary traditions.

What an amazing getaway so close to Lisbon! Perfect to escape the heatwave. The rooms are really original, the pool and surrounding area is really well designed to make you relax and feel in nature and the food at the restaurant is great! Will return for sure

The receptionist Vitor deserves a raise! What a kind and helpful staff. Knows all there is to know, helps in everything in the best way and genuinely cares about us and the concept of the hotel. He made the experience even better, so show him de moneyy 💸

I am still speechless. What a beautiful architecture. This makes it all more incomprehensible, how people can tear down such a nice place. It is obvious that somebody put a lot of money and effort in this project, but it is dirty and rotten in every corner. We arrived in the afternoon but our bungalow wasn’t ready. Finally we entered the room around six o’clock. The place was freezing cold and smelled of mould. We mentioned it, but they told us, it is like it is. There are only little air conditioners at the ceiling and a little fireplace to heat up the room, which obviously did not work. The nice bathtub was broken and not clean. The rooms have a really nice size, but unfortunately no real closet. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good, but for some reason the waiter touched us all the time. Since our visit I am sick. All in all disappointing service and a place which needs a complete renovation.

The place is absolutely beautiful, the food tasted great, we did feel the breakfast missed hot options (eggs, veggies..). Our room was quiet but lacked some maintenance, the bathtub produced a sewer smell after we drained it for 10min and there was a nail coming out of the wooden floors that can be dangerous if overlooked. Although we were well aware that we’re in the middle of a green space, we did find quite a few insects in the room, which wasn’t a throw off but people that don’t tolerate insects might want to reconsider this choice or ask the staff to spray the room with insecticides before the check in. It’s a good option for a couples wanting to relax but would be even more fun as a group of friends given the common space available to hang out in.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the views from the window were breathtaking. It’s evident that the hotel places great emphasis on comfort and luxury.
