Classic hotel in the old city. Quiet area around the hotel, just a short walk from the cathedral. Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. Service at reception was super friendly. I was allowed to park my bicycle in the garage downstairs, no extra fee charged. Amazing value!

Absolutely amazing hotel! Tucked away on a quiet street but only a few mins walk from bars, restaurants and all the things worth seeing in the old town. An absolute gem. Rooms are very well equipped and the views are stunning, particularly from the roof terrace. Breakfast is fantastic.

This hotel’s management is very much below par. We wasted well over half an hour after our arrival before being allowed to access the room we had fully paid for in advance because the management claimed they had no record of our booking and demanded proof that we had in fact already paid. Their whole argument fell apart when we showed them several emails the hotel had sent us confirming the booking, telling us the check-in time and asking if we needed car-parking! Their excuse was to say they didn’t know Trip.com, through whom the reservation was made, because they only ever get clients sent to them by Bookings.com or *******, which makes no sense at all. Of course, there was no subsequent gesture of regret by the management after having caused us to have to put up with this farce on arrival - an upgrade to a better room should have been the very least they could have done. The room we stayed in, however, was adequate and the hotel location good, but we will certainly never stay here again.

Hotel Santa Isabel in Toledo is a fantastic stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making everything easy from check-in to recommendations for getting around. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the atmosphere felt relaxing after a day of exploring the historic city. The location is a big highlight—perfect for visiting Toledo’s main sights while still offering a calm place to unwind at night. Breakfast was also a great start to the day with plenty of variety and quality. Overall, Hotel Santa Isabel delivered exactly what we hoped for: excellent service, great comfort, and a convenient base in Toledo. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

We stayed two nights at the Santa Isabel Hotel. The location is excellent in the old town, just a few minutes’ walk from the cathedral, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Indeed, everything is within walking distance. The hotel is a wonderful and atmospheric refurbishment (rebuild, really) of a fine old town house. We had a standard double. It was compact and furnished simply. Modern bathroom, comfortable bed, impeccably clean, good storage, effective A/C. Note – no tea/coffee making tray. Staff were pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was poor, presumably a reflection of the fairly low room rates. It was a cold continental style breakfast served at your table. Very limited choice, although the glass of orange juice was freshly squeezed.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. The hotel is in a good location, all the staff are very helpful. The decor is in keeping with the historic location. Roof terrace is a great place to sit with a bottle of wine and enjoy the views.

A boutique hotel. Lovely hosts. Polite and helpful staff everwhere. If you manage to take your small (!) car up to hotel and have asked for a parking space there are some under the old building from the 1400th. Ok breakfast to order by table. Lovely roof top terrace with view direct on cathedral and other main sights. Clean, good sleeping comfort and good wifi. Our room had french balcony towards cathedral. We missed water cooker and small fridge in room. Reception have glasses and wine bottles at 7€. We really recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located little hotel. And Lucia at reception was heaven-sent. We had a difficult time getting here and she could not have been more helpful and patient (especially considering we failed to call ahead to reserve parking as suggested). Don’t forget to go to the roof deck!!
