What a fantastic boutique hotel in a sympathetically restored building. In a quiet neighborhood with cafes nearby. Spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, fabulous shower and toiletries. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order 🥚 with a great coffee machine and the most stunning views of the bay from the breakfast terrace. The staff are this hotels strength - friendly , welcoming and helpful- nothing too much trouble. Big shout out to Nick on reception who was so helpful with some missing documents

Whilst the staff were friendly and rooms cute, there are two major issues with this hotel regarding noise. First, you can hear the footsteps and conversations of the rooms above you, the wooden floor boards creaking when people above you move. Then, with the road right outside the hotel, it’s like you’re sleeping on the street, so cars passing by are very loud and tough to sleep well. More a 2-3 star hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend - the cleanliness was also an issue rooms only superficially clean.

Best staff ever, Nicholas and Rodrigo were so nice and helpful. Great location in historic area. Amazing rooftop terrace with great sunset views and for breakfast. Road is somewhat noisy but worth it for the views and great price.

Wonderful small hotel in renovated historic home. The hosts are charming and multilingual; the rooms were small but comfortable (ours had a patio); the upstairs terrace has amazing views of the city and harbor and is open 24/7. Bar and restaurant service is also available but not advertised.

We loved this boutique hotel so much that we extended our stay a couple of days rather than return to Santiago. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt very calm after being outside in the (wonderful) chaos of Valparaiso. They have preserved the character of the old building very well and we loved the marvelous high ceilings. We really enjoyed breakfast on the terraza with incredible views of the harbor and surrounding hills. The location was excellent for walking all over Cerro Allegre and Cerro Concepcion. There were plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and when we didn’t feel like going out -the restaurant and bar on the hotel’s terraza opened on the weekend evenings. The staff were very helpful and friendly!

We had a superb 3 night stay here! We received excellent and attentive service from Italo, Nicolas, and Natalie. Wonderful guesthouse is well-maintained in unique Valpo. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace, complete with eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt. Great value in this Unesco gem of a city!

Excellent friendly hotel in a great location. The staff were so helpful, the rooms were comfortable plus they have a wonderful terrace to enjoy the fantastic views. Good breakfast and on the morning we left very early they provided us with coffee and a breakfast to take on our journey. Very thoughtful !
