I was a bit unsure at first because the reviews and ratings were quite mixed, but I ended up really enjoying my stay. The location is excellent, right next to the main station. It’s an older, large business hotel, but very clean and comfortable. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both solid, and the price felt very reasonable for what you get. Trains do pass by, but we were lucky to have a room on the quieter side, so it wasn’t an issue at all. If I return to Himeji, I would happily stay here again.

Authentic Local Vibe: I noticed that there were almost no international tourists—mostly Japanese guests—making it a very quiet and authentic experience. Location is really good and central and walking distance from all the major places. Service was good because they gave us a different room with two actual beds, just make sure if you book a double room it is with an actual bed and not a bed and a couch. But great that they were able to put us in a triple room. The couch is not a great way to sleep, you would have a crack in the middle. But 4,25 stars out of 5

Nice hotel. Room is ok and clean. Comes with FREE breakfast and dinner. Dinner choices are Japanese meal or Curry rice. And free buffet salad and coffee (Cappuccino, espresso and latte). The Japanese dinner is good. It also has a free sauna.

This hotel beat my expectations. Got a great deal and I was very happy with everything: Location: 5min walk from the JR station Food: lots of food joints and convenience stores all around. I got a voucher for complimentary breakfast and dinner and it was awesome Onsen: there's an onsen with a large bath and an infrared sauna with terrific views of the train tracks with the Shinkanzens passing by. All in all, the price was fabulous for all the above I mentioned

The hotel is located near the station, it's then possible that you could hear the sound of trains pass by. Room was clean, size is ok for a solo. There're 2 options for dinner and you can choose when getting a coupon at the reception
