Spectacular property in Lucca. It’s total perfection in every way. Impeccably maintained and appointed, staff is incredible and amenities are amazing. You can not get a better location.

Spectacular in every way! This one of a kind boutique property is absolutely gorgeous. Every detail and comfort is here! My husband and I feel like we are in Tuscan heaven. We don’t ever want to leave. We have traveled all over Italy and this property by far exceeds any other hotel residence. We also noticed several recognizable faces staying here but only saw them at glance entering the building because each residence/room is very private. No more staying in Florence - Lucca and Grand Universe is our new home away from home. Staff goes above and beyond as well. |I almost forgot - a butler is on sight to handle any special needs. Breakfasts at their sister property a few doors down The Grand Universe Lucca is also amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous and authentic boutique residence hotel in Lucca/Tuscany. Rooms are luxurious and have every amenity you could possibly need. If you’re looking for discretion this boutique residence hotel offers just that. You’ll be met by your personal concierge/butler upon arrival and escorted to your very private suite. The views are magnificent and the suites are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Beds are heavenly. We also enjoyed morning breakfast at the sister hotel Grand Universe just up the street as well as champagne on their rooftop bar and patio. Perfect place to enjoy your time in such a magical beautiful place in Italy. Lucca is the new place to be based instead of Florence.

My wife and I stayed in the two-bedroom top floor "Thyme" apartment at La Residenza in Lucca recently, and the experience was like living an episode of The Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Located in the walled part of the city that's a ten-minute walk to the train station, the apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated, and it includes the most comfortable beds, three huge flat-screen TVs, wonderfully appointed bathrooms with huge showers, and gorgeous original wood beam ceilings. The fully equipped kitchenette had brand new appliances, including a large fridge, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and silverware. The staff is absolutely amazing. There is an on-site receptionist who caters to the guests every need. They also have a butler for the guests, and breakfast can be brought to your room from La Residenza's sister property, The Grand Universe Lucca, which is a three-minute walk away. The entrance to La Residenza is tucked away in a very quiet part of Lucca, providing guests with complete privacy from the crowds and other guests. My wife and I have stayed in dozens of beautiful hotels throughout Tuscany over the past twelve years and La Residenza is by far our favorite.
