AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Davutlar Beach stretches along the southern outskirts of Kuşadası on Turkey's Aegean coast, offering a wide, golden-sand shoreline backed by pine forests and framed by the Dilek Peninsula National Park. Rated 4.3 from nearly 900 visitor reviews, it has become the go-to escape for travellers who want to swim in calm, shallow, Blue Flag–certified sea without the bustle of Kuşadası's central beaches.↗↗↗
The beach forms part of a remarkable 12-kilometre continuous sandy strip running from Kuşadası toward the national park boundary. The specific section at Sevgi Yolu — the address point for Davutlar Sahil — is a lively, family-oriented stretch with promenade cafés, municipal showers and a gentle entry into the water that stays wadeable well past the horizon line.↗↗↗
What Makes It Special
Davutlar's coastline is the kind of beach many Aegean travellers search for and rarely find: broad enough that weekends still feel spacious, shallow enough that children can paddle safely for dozens of metres from shore, and clean enough to earn a Blue Flag. The sea stays only about waist-deep even 35 to 60 metres out, thanks to a gently sloping sandy bed. The water is a vivid turquoise-blue on clear days, and air temperatures peak around 30°C in August with a sea temperature close to 27°C.
