We booked an executive lake view one bedroom apartment from 18 to 20 June which cost USD500/night. The initial room they put us in on the 4th floor had a view that was obstructed by the side of the building protruding out, with a driveway ramp right in front of our balcony. We had to also walk through the indoor carpark to get to our room. The apartment had a 2nd bedroom and toilet but we were told we couldn't use them otherwise we would be charged extra. We asked to change to another room with a better view. Reece at the concierge desk was so patient and showed us two other rooms on the 6th floor which had much better views of the mountains and lake. He provided excellent and professional service! In our new room (612-1), the unobstructed views of the lake and mountains was spectacular. It was my birthday and they had a jar of chocolates as a small gift! If you don't mind some occasional noise, commercial planes fly overhead. The room was adequately clean with a nice fireplace and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The hourly shuttle brought us into the city centre - thank you to the young man who drove us, very professional and polite! Avin from concierge and Nova from front desk were also amazing. Get the right room with the views and you won't be disappointed!
